So today I walked into the hardware store with the intent of purchasing a new hammer. First I needed to use the restroom before I made my purchase. I asked the woman at the register where the bathroom was located. She said the restroom was not for the public. I said in that case I would purchase the hammer at a different store. I think Ace hardware should explain the difference between a customer and the term public. A customer is purchasing something that will help generate revenue so the store can remain open. The general public is not purchasing anything. A clue to make the distinction is if the person is dressed better than the sales clerk they are most likely a customer. If they are dressed lower than the clerk they are most likely a member of the public.I hope this will clear any confusion your sales...
Read moreI was really excited to hear that Mr. Steve Smith had taken the Ace Hardware Franchise over. Upon arrival at the bristol store was greeted and the associate immediately tried to help. Online the glue[s] and adhesives I specifically needed were listed but NOT physically stocked in the store. When told they could be ordered the size of the 4oz was exorbitantly high and size that I need of 16 Oz was NOT avaliable. The price quoted for the 2 4 Ounxe bottles was the price range that the 16 0z should have been sold for. Very disappointing Mr. Smith you can do better than this If not perhaps the hardware business...

All that aside, I strictly come here because the manager is one of the best managers I have ever met. He knows the customers by name always greets you with a smile and goes way above and beyond to help customers and will even try to order specific things based on clients needs I can’t say enough about this Ace Hardware.
