Awful experience. Very rarely do I take the time to complain and write a bad review, this time is necessary. First off, we walk into the store the staff treats us like an inconvenience. No hi hello how can we help you, zero customer service skills. I work in the customer service industry as a waitress and I have no idea how this store continues to get business. Mary Jo is the lady who ended up âhelpingâ us. She was extremely rude and snotty to myself and my younger child. When she was fitting him, he was wiggling around a bit and she threw her hands down and huffed and puffed and sighed because he wasnât standing straight or the way she wanted him to. Mind you we been here at least an hour now. I then said to her, heâs never been fitted for a tux, if you need him to move or turn, you need to tell him, he doesnt know he is also 7!. If you need to move his body or turn him, you are more then welcome to. She threw her arms down and puffed again and looked at me and said âI donât know why your giving me attitudeâ I looked at her and said, You are being extremely rude to my son and and through all of this. I came here giving my business to get tuxes for a wedding. I could go into detail but enough said. After that she seemed to perk right up but at this point 1 hour in im done and over it. If I had the time and if my schedule allows i would of walked out and went elsewhere. drove 1 hour from my house to this location. Then after that (1 1/2 hours later mind you) check outing out was a problem. The prices she gave for the rental and on the paper, when she rang me up was almost 200.00 more. I said this is not the price you gave me can you re check that. We waited another 15 minutes. I then said would you mind getting a manager we are ready to leave itâs been 2 hours we have been here. Nope. So i then went and got the store manager myself. He seemed to fix the problem with her so we were charged correctly. The fitting- so we now go pick up the tuxs 2 days before the wedding. I ordered size 3 shoe - they gave me size 2. The lady Diane (very helpful lady) said well we can order and you can pick them up tomorrow. Um I donât have time for that- the store is 1 hour from my house. So i ended up buying shoes at DSW another 45 out of my pocket. When my son was trying on tux, the suspenders were tangled up. I tried to fix them she came over and said you wonât be able to do that iâll take them back and fix them. Well i should of known to check because we get to the wedding and suprise she never fixed them. So we spend 20 minutes untangling them before the wedding. The pants were too long. not sure if they mixed them up and made a mistake but he had to roll them up in the wedding. and he was in the wedding. Very disappointing! A complete mess. We absolutely never go to this location again. returned the rentals back to a different location because will not step foot in that store again (yes that bad). Didnât bother to tell me i had to return the next day. (We were going to be out of the area for 3 days) so incurred late charges. complete mess. Very rude staff, unprofessional and did not deliver what we ordered. Made a report to get refund and a complaint against store so hopefully staff can be replaced. Writing review so people do not go through the...
Read moreMenâs Wearhouse let us down. We ordered our rental suits for the men in our wedding.
First impression was promising. Staff was friendly and attentive. They worked with us to figure out the style and color of our suits. Including the undershirt, tie, vest, overcoat and pants. It was a busy day for the staff. The person helping us took time but acted flustered with short staff.
After everything was decided and noted into their company site. We were given a receipt, where key items were wrong. We were told by the staff the system would take days to correct the changes. Having faith in them we left. Later we found out the silver tie was never changed to a gold tie like we agreed.
Days afterwards no call, no email to confirm changes had taken place like we were promised from the staff. We called them to go in and reassure corrections had taken place. After talking with staff once more on the phone to confirm changes afterwards things seemed set and correct.
I showed a picture to my wedding party and what articles go with each person.
Jump to the wedding week. My suit was mostly correct, minus I was given a white undershirt with a previous stain and rip into the sleevesâŠ
I found out my best man top and bottom did not match with light blue and dark blue but should had been all dark blueâŠ
Everyoneâs pocket square was pink like the groomâs BUT was to meant to be Gold to match the gold tieâŠ
My brother-in-law was missing the ENTIRE White Undershirt. So to remedy this 1 hour before the ceremony started, he stopped by a local store to pick up a replacement white undershirtâŠ
Needless to say we were angry and disappointed by promising and reassuring requests we asked. We went back into be helped by the site manager and gave us a half cost reimbursement for each person we had issues with. BUT with the color correction and photo editing cost, this was MORE from the photographer than that included.
Their may have been wording or text accounting for suits prior for required changes. BUT was never communicated to us directly.
Had to double and triple check, follow-up everything we ordered ourselves. Really glad this ONE PERMANENT DAY in our lives, we thought was going to go smoothly and reassured turned out to be the opposite.
Communication was a failure, where we felt like a number, even this review feels a number...
Read moreMy fiance and I stopped in at the Men's Warehouse in Brookfield on the Sunday after Thanksgiving to look at tuxedo rentals for our upcoming May wedding. We decided on a navy tuxedo and asked if it could be ordered in my fiance's size for him to try on as he is pretty tall and therefore sizing can be an issue for him. The manager agreed to order the exact tux in his size but informed us it would take 3 weeks to arrive and he would obly have 3 days to come in and try the tux on before the store would have to ship it back. That was fine with us, so an employee measured him and the order was submitted. About 3.5 weeks later the tux arrived. My fiance went back to the store to try it on only to discover the tux had been ordered in the wrong material, as well as an incorrect size due to the employee not measuring correctly. An employee named Ally remeasured him and reordered. A few days later my fiance received a voicemail from the store to say the tux had NOT been reordered yet because they were waiting on the manager's authorization and this particular manager was out of town at the time. Another 2 weeks passed so my fiance called to find out that the suit STILL had not been ordered and that the manager, Michelle, would be calling him. We also stopped in and the employee my fiance spoke to acted surpirised that Michelle hadn't called and the employee said she would help us get a resoultion. Yet another week went by when Michelle finally calls to rudely tell my fiance that they will not reorder the suit and can not help us. She basically told him "it's a rental so it's going to fit poorly like a rental". Well...then why agree to order the tux for him in the first place and give us 6 weeks of frustrating run around?
Thank God this order wasn't for the actual wedding. Needless to say we will take our business elsewhere. Quite frankly, if they do not have the ability to correctly measure and order one tux, I can't imagine they would have correctly ordered the other six or seven tuxedos we need in addition to the groom's tux. This is yet another example of why brick and mortar stores are dying out- poor customer service, and rude, incompetent employees. I am not surprised to see that this location has the worst reviews out of any of the Men's Warehouse stores in the...
