Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Brookfield

It’s smelled like sewage. It was dirty. The portion sizes were not standard DQ sizes…much smaller. When I said so, they added more ice cream to the cone then weighed it to show me it was 5.5 ozs. When I pointed out it was only close to normal after they added ice cream, they continued to argue. They argued with me that I was ordering a sundae when I was not ordering a sundae. The oil was likely rancid. The fries were very old, horrible tasting and completely limp and oil soaked. And not a single teenager as staff to be seen anywhere. All adults.

This is so sad. We have a DQ in our town and will have to travel away from our own town to actually enjoy a normal DQ experience.

Corporate Headquarters needs to get involved. This is by far the worst DQ we have ever experienced in many decades. This location is literally ruining all the typical standards expected at a DQ franchise.

And the standard DQ reply to other complaints similar to this will not do well to maintain customer loyalty. So unfortunate as DQ has always been a great place to have a fun night and enjoy a treat.

My daughter and I drove to Dunham's in Brookfield( 35 to 45 minutes from our house) since west bend isn't open yet. But she wanted dairy queen I figured instead of driving to Menomonee falls or waiting till we get to Kewaskum. On the way home I figured we just go to the one in Brookfield since we were there. The guy that run us up was nice but he wrong our food or wrong I don't know if he's trying to save us money or whatever but he rung it all wrong he wrong her three-piece chicken shed basket as a meal which we didn't want fries. We just wanted the chicken strips and ice cream so then they said oh the girls that were there said oh vanilla crunches from like we don't want vanilla with crunches we just want medium vanilla cone.the girls gave us a small vanilla cone. Usually I only write good reviews, but I'm so done with this place, I had to write a bad one. This is the FOURTH time in a row that I have gone to this DQ and they haven't been able to give me what I try to order. They're out of it, the machine's broken, etc. And I'm not ordering the same thing every time either! And today, it had the most horrific smell of sulfur (rotten eggs) upon opening the door. Also, not today, but last time I came in (about a week ago), I waited around for I think it was 7 minutes with no one in front of me and no employee coming from the back. I wait patiently all that time, just to be told, NOPE! my time was wasted again, can't have what I want to order. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of one is because I was able to place an order at one point a couple/few months ago, and that was an ok experience even though they never ever...
