We are regulars here. We've had the very reasonable lunch buffets to carry out dinners to dining in. It's our LOCAL place for Indian food and it's clear that they appreciate our business. We like the foreign ambience, a nice change from the typical U.S. American cultural food. I suppose we're fairly open minded this way. They speak English quite well and certainly good enough for me. We have NEVER felt uncomfortable there at all as Indians are much quieter people and nice towards us. Try the chicken tikka massala or a vindaloo (either shrimp or they'll make it chicken as well). Absolutely delicious as is the Naan bread. We've always had pretty decent service there. We'll keep going back. Thats for sure. Pay cash and they'll give a 10% discount, or scoop up a $5 off coupon online from their website for savings. One or the other though.
UPDATE: They're slipping sometimes in quality and service. Tonight 9/9/17, poor shrimp tandoori - overcooked - discovered after getting it back home! I ordered online and it had taken over the 1 hr. quoted on their website pick-up time. I waited another 10-15 mins. when arriving at the restaurant. Had to go back to get another dinner. They wouldn't deliver it to us after their major screw up. We're going to look for another...
Read moreThe attitude of the owner was very rude. This was the first time I brought my mom to try Indian food. We also brought a four months old baby girl with us and she was crying almost half the time. We are not familiar with Indian food and we certainly did not have time to read the labels. My mom got everything a little bit and then she found she did not like some of the food. So she had some leftover in her plate. When the owner came to get our plates, he seemed to be very angry that we had some leftover. This was what he said "You are not done with the food, you have to eat them all!" The owner had never asked whether we like the food, all he said to us was to order us to finish the plate. We did not waste the food purposefully. We had some leftover because we did not like most of the food there. I don't think we deserve this.
I had been there with my husband several time before, he was good to my husband who is a big guy. I do not know whether this time he picked on us just because we are women. On the other hand If he does not allow guest to have leftover for the buffet, he should have put out a sign. No leftover including sauce or to what extend. People would then have the chance to think twice before they step in...
Read moreThe culinary experience at the Indian restaurant in question undoubtedly ranks among the most exceptional within our local community. Evidently, there has been a noticeable evolution in their gastronomic offerings over an extended period. Previously, the nuances of seasoning might not have achieved the same level of refinement that characterizes their present state. As of today's date, August 23, 2023, the culinary mastery is particularly evident in the preparation of the goat curry, where the seasoning strikes a harmonious balance, enriching the dish with an impeccable blend of spices. It is worth noting that the goat curry exhibits a distinct absence of any off-putting odors commonly associated with such preparations. Similarly, the goat biryani underscores the kitchen's prowess in the art of seasoning, expertly combining spices and salt to achieve an optimal symphony of flavors. The meticulous attention to detail, down to the absence of any residual odors from the goat meat, underscores the excellence that defines this establishment. It is with great enthusiasm that I confer a well-deserved five-star rating upon this...
