I hesitated to write this review but decided I may prevent someone else from experiencing the horrible treatment I received this last month. I’ve worked with estate sale companies for 20 years and never had a bad experience until I made a purchase from Cedarburg Auctions. I won a lot of watches and immediately paid. Contacted the auctioneer and he agreed to place the lot in his office until I could pickup. When I contacted him a week later I was told he couldn’t find the lot. He refunded my money. Three weeks later I was contacted by a private shipping company requesting payment for the lost lot. I paid the shipper and then immediately re-paid the auction company. After 5 days of no delivery I contacted the shipper to find out the auctioneer for Cedarburg had picked up the lot “because I had not paid for the lot”. When I reached out to Tarq the owner of Cedarburg I was called a thief who tried to get the lot for free. Once he realized I had paid a 2nd time he refunded my money but only after I filed a complaint with Paypal. I understand that mistakes happen but then you call a customer a thief before you check payment status!!?? There are a lot of auction companies out there. Steer clear of this one.
