Great place to hang out, swim, and bring the kids. The pond is natural-esque — it has a natural, gently sloping sand bottom, but is chlorinated. So weeds and fish are nil, but it still feels more like a fun watering hole than a sterile bright-blue standard park pool. There’s a platform and low diving board in the deeper section, which is about 11 feet.
Bring a blanket or chairs, as the sand is a little on the rocky side. There are clean regular bathrooms and showers on site, and a nice play area just a little ways outside the pond’s fence.
