912 Ink Tattoo and Piercing — Local services in Brunswick

This was the worst piercing experience I've ever had, and I've had many piercings over the years. First off, there was a kid in the lobby, which I thought was very unprofessional for a tattoo and piercing shop. The piercer, JaiJai, at least took her time trying to line up the vertical labret for me since my lips are thin and not perfectly symmetrical, and she was attentive afterwards when I was feeling like I was going to pass out, BUT the piercing experience overall was horrible. There were other people in the lobby arguing, talking about guns and driving drunk, while she was getting me prepped for my piercing. And then when she went ot pierce me, she did so with no warning while she was mid conversation with someone out in the lobby. It was incredibly painful, probably one of the worst piercing pains I've had. Piercers should be attentive with their clients, and they should be in a relaxed environment away from everyone. Piercers should also talk the client through the process, and have them breathe, even if the client has had piercings before. If I hadn't paid beforehand, I would have walked out before even getting pierced, but I gave her benefit of the doubt that even though I got bad vibes right away. I would NEVER recommend to anyone, and i had a friend who wanted to get a tattoo here and I told her to stay away. I will be going to a different shop (and will have to pay) to have my bar (which i think is WAY too long for the size of my lip even giving room for swelling) changed because I do not want to step foot in this establishment again. Nope. Dirty, unprofessional and dirty. I made an appointment for 1:00, which is when they opened, and she was 15 minutes late because she needed a target run. After finally opening up, she couldn’t start my piercing because the internet was down…. After 15 minutes of troubleshooting the Wifi and BSing with coworkers, she got to my ear. At this point I should have left but I was anxious to get my ear pierced. Zero jewelry selection. The silver balls she put in my ear (which were the only earrings she had) were way too big and caused pain 3 weeks after the piercing. Her chair looked like it had never been cleaned, the floor easily had months of dirt caked on and she did not sterilize the jewelry properly. I only know now that the jewelry wasn’t sterilized properly because when I finally get the disgusting silver balls changed out, the process was completely different. He used a machine to clean each earring, twice and made sure the chair was cleaned. When JJ was done with my helix piercing, she happily took my payment (way overpriced, even Manhattan charges less) and handed me a card with instructions for cleaning, but they don’t give or sell you cleaner!?!?? This establishment is very unprofessional. As much times I supported the 912 ink family for years, they decided to deny services to me. I was informed from one of the tattoo artists to come in to get the tattoo service I requested. I took off from work just to be available for the services. I went to the shop to be turned down not only by the tattoo artist that accepted the services requested but the whole 912 ink family. As soon as I was able to finish the paper work, I began to speak to the tattoo artist that I stayed in contact with. The Store Owner Girlfriend caused a scene to a previous tattoo artist I’ve done business with for a year over switching to the new artist. As many years I’ve spent supporting 912, I have done services with every artist within the shop besides the new one. When I’ve spoke to the Owners Girlfriend on why I did not want services from previous artist which was due to poor communication. The previous tattoo artist had a tantrum and slammed a door refusing services as well. The Owners girlfriend claimed that the shop was fully booked when the shop was completely empty. They advised me that they would call me to set up an another appointment. This was a very inconvenient experience and was very uncomfortable due to the jokes made during...
