Dollar Tree — Local services in Bryan

This store has the most rude people in retail! I had visited this store on Dec. 5th at approximately 6:30 p.m. to return a Bluetooth Speaker. Normally I do not keep my receipts, nor ever try to return items, but this defective Bluetooth Speaker was a plus $5 item, meaning I paid $6.25 plus tax. I approached the cashier that was standing at her register not even paying any attention that I was there and trying to get her attention. I believe she was trying to ignore me. Once I got her attention, I explained to her what was wrong with the speaker and asked if I could get at least get in store credit for it. She replied very rudely to me, "I don't think so, considering this is what you told me the last time you tried to return the same item". I told her that I have only been in that particular store one time because I'm not even from around here. She asked another associate if I could return it and also told them that I had tried to return it once before. The other associate claimed that because I did not have the box it came in, there was nothing she could do. I have never been spoken to so rudely and accused of already returning an item before in my life. I will NEVER shop at that Bryan, Ohio...

Usually the people there are kind and helpful. The store is usually well cared for besides some misplaced items from our very kind locals.

I called moments ago with a silly question, (can I buy 15 envelopes for cards), which I’m only inquiring because my daughter and I wanted to make personalized envelopes for her Kindergarten class.

The lady on the phone was very kind and all and expected a silly question. Once asked she yells and snarls, “We can’t do that!”

I understand someone having a bad day but I’ve worked retail for years and consider myself a sub par employee but can definitely be kinder than...

Love their products with a big variety available..only place we've seen candy bars with wrappers honoring vets. We keep going back for more. The only downside to the store is sometimes only 1 register is open and they can have 10 folks waiting to check out! Staff is very friendly. Thankful to have it...
