I normally don’t write negative reviews, but I feel this experience needs to be shared. I had my disabled, elderly mom with me in downtown Bryson City today when she had an accident. I went into Loose Moose and even bought her a pair of pants from the store, then asked if she could use their restroom to change. They still refused to allow her access, even though she is a local resident and clearly needed help. My boyfriend and I stopped in this cute store during a weekend getaway. They had a wide selection of fares. However, the cashiers - two older women - were extremely rude and dismissive when my boyfriend asked a seemingly innocuous question about elk sighting after we paid our purchases. We immediately regretted supporting this store. As someone raised in the Appalachian area who understands the meaning of hospitality, I was embarrassed for their behavior and hope no one ever makes them feel the way they made my boyfriend feel....

We really enjoyed going through this store. The staff was super friendly and was willing to assist us in finding what we wanted! There were so many T-shirt and coffee mug options to choose from - I could have looked through the store for much longer!
