My wife and I came to Pop-N-Jacks tonight after our Polar Express ride. She loves popcorn and was very excited when she saw the shop. As we entered, the older woman at the front desk looked up and then right back down. My wife (who is black) and myself (who is white) stood at the front counter waiting to order. The woman never acknowledged either of us until my wife greeted her with a simple hello how are you. The woman said “what can I get for you”. My wife then asked for the “mixed” bag of a few different varieties. The woman responded with “I’m not mixing in the store in public”, with a cold stare and disturbed tone in her voice. My sister and brother in law went back to the store front on w weekend trip and I decided to try the online ordering since I live in Georgia..well, I was even more impressed with the care and thoughtfulness that went into the packaging..I had ordered several flavors, including the chocolate varieties..they arrived here in perfect condition.
