I can't speak highly enough about how wonderful our stay was at The Everett Hotel! The minute we walked in the door, we were warmly greeted by Ron and Patricia. Ron personally guided us upstairs to our suite (#5), ensured that our door code worked, that the thermostat was set to our preferred temp, told us where to find fresh coffee and cold water during our stay, and suggested that we check out the rooftop deck prior to our dinner reservation. Our suite was spotless, the bed was nearly as comfortable as our Tempur-Pedic bed at home, cozy robes and a fresh pair of slippers were provided for each of us, along with complimentary bottles of water in the room, and DirecTV. The hotel decor consisted of a welcoming rustic elegance. We were impressed by how special the staff make their hotel guests feel during their stay. By the time we had made our dinner reservation (2 weeks in advance), only outdoor patio seating was available, however, shortly after seating us, Patricia came over and said that they had a dining room table available and offered it to us - which we gratefully accepted! John was our server, and he did a spectacular job at taking great care of us. His wine suggestion was divine and paired perfectly with my filet mignon! Our entire meal was fantastic, from appetizers to dessert. In fact, days later, we're still craving more of their French Onion Soup! After dinner, we took a glass of wine to the rooftop deck, wrapped up in one of the complimentary abundantly soft blankets and unwound from our activity-filled day in front of the fire pit. A short time later, we were surprised with our personal plate of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and brownie bites. The complimentary breakfast was equally delicious as dinner was the night before. I highly recommend the Quiche - it's to die for!! Overall, our stay at The Everett Hotel was one of our best travel experiences. In fact, my husband (who has traveled the world) said that it was one of his all time favorite experiences/places to stay. We look forward to returning again! My ONLY complaints, which were not enough for me to deduct a Star from my rating because every other aspect of our stay was so wonderful, are... 1. The bathroom vanity and mirror are gorgeous, BUT were built/hung for giants! I'm 5' 3" and couldn't see my outfit below my chest when getting dressed - which is why having a full-length mirror in the room would be greatly appreciated by the "vertically-challenged" guests! This would also be especially helpful when a couple is trying to get ready at the same time in the small bathroom. 2. I don't know if this is a common occurrence, or was just an anomaly during our stay, but it was quite noisy in our suite (#5) in the evening. I'm not certain, but I assume, that it was noise coming from the kitchen during cleanup - the noise sounded like pots and pans banging against a metal sink while being washed, and I believe that our suite was located above the kitchen. After getting up at 5am and having a full day, we were exhausted and ready for bed by 9:15pm, however I couldn't fall asleep until after the banging noise stopped. Fortunately it did around 10:00-10:30pm. Had it lasted any longer, I would have complained/deducted a Star from my rating, but as mentioned previously, the good far outweighed the bad! Next time I will just be more inclined to book a corner room in hopes of not having this same frustration at bedtime.

We stayed in suite 10 for a long weekend stay. We were absolutely blown away by the Everett! The service was top notch, all the details from showing you to your room, leaving fresh bottles of water in the fridge daily, and keeping my 90 year old grandma well stocked in coffee! Believe me, she drinks a lot! I am also gluten free, so they went above and beyond because not only did I have gluten free toast at breakfast, but they had warm complimentary gluten free cookies and brownies each night for me to enjoy, come on!!! We dined in the bistro for dinner and everyone agreed the food and service was fantastic. Cocktails were very high end and I was very happy with the wine menu as well. I did not think I would find such a great drink or wine menu in Little Bryson City. The complimentary breakfast was top notch. My grandma even loved the local sausage so much we asked about it and went to the processor and bought her 3lbs. Prior to leaving. I loved the meatless sausage myself. The rooms were immaculate it looks like you were in someone's home. There is no usual wear and tear evident that you find in other hotels. Not even a scratch. After dinner we enjoyed the rooftop and fire pit. My grandma is from Bryson City and we brought her back as what might be her last visit since she doesn't travel well these days. She was treated like a queen by the staff. Staying at the Everett was fun as well because she remembers when it was the bank, and reminisced about what the other buildings were as well. This definitely isn't the Bryson City I remember as a kid either, but I like it!! Thank you for the wonderful stay and the memories we made.

I cannot say enough about the incredible experience Ron & Scott created at The Everett Hotel & Bistro in Bryson City, NC. As a wedding photographer in Appalachian Wedding Photography, I’ve seen my fair share of special moments, but the level of care, attention to detail, and hospitality they provided was truly unparalleled. From the moment the weekend began, they curated an atmosphere of warmth and elegance, making the couple and their loved ones feel not just welcomed, but cherished. Every detail was handled with intention—lighting the fire on the rooftop balcony for the couple’s portraits, orchestrating the most intimate reception dinner I have ever witnessed, and plating the wedding cake with orchids and berries in a way that was nothing short of art. And the food—course after course of delicate, delicious flavors that transported guests into a vacuum of love and splendor. Every dish was plated beautifully, and nothing about the experience was left average. This wasn’t just a meal; it was an experience that wrapped the couple in celebration. Beyond the impeccable service, the Everett Hotel itself is a dream—beautiful accommodations, an unbeatable location, and a team that truly understands the art of hospitality. Ron & Scott didn’t just host an event; they made sure the couple and their family felt every meaningful moment all weekend long. If you’re looking for a place where hospitality meets artistry, where no detail is overlooked, and where love is celebrated in the most beautiful way, The Everett Hotel & Bistro is it.

The Everett Hotel is the place to stay when visiting Bryson City, NC. My review comes with deep appreciation and gratitude for the owners and team of this amazing establishment.

We brought a family of seven to celebrate my father’s 70th birthday. Before checking in, we took a ride on the historic Great Smoky Mountains Railroad—an incredible experience! The train stops in another town, offering opportunities for shopping and local brewery entertainment.

During the ride, I suddenly realized I had forgotten my father’s birthday cake. When Ron texted us to ask about our arrival, I mentioned my dilemma and asked if he knew of a nearby bakery. Without hesitation, he responded, “What flavor cake does your dad like?” I told him, and he immediately assured me not to worry—he would take care of it. That’s when I knew we weren’t just staying in a hotel; we were staying in a place that truly cares about its guests. And they do!

From the moment we arrived, we had an absolute blast!

We booked three rooms, and they were spotless, sparkling, polished, and pristine. The beds were beyond comfortable—so much so that my father even commented on how well he slept, despite being away from home.

The Bistro at the hotel was exceptional, with delicious food and expertly crafted drinks. The service was impeccable, and the staff ensured that everyone left satisfied. After dinner, we spent time on the rooftop, where a fire pit and complimentary blankets kept us cozy. If you visit, I highly recommend bringing a small cooler with your favorite drinks and enjoying a peaceful evening by the fire, gazing up at the stars.

Before heading home, we had breakfast at the Bistro, and we’re still talking about how amazing it was—especially the grits!

If you're looking for a place to stay in Bryson City, NC, look no further. The Everett Hotel & Bistro is an experience, not just a stay. You will not be disappointed!

A heartfelt thank you to The Everett Hotel & Bistro team for going above and beyond to make my dad’s 70th birthday special. We will be back! Wishing you all the best, and we’ll...

WOW!!! Where do I start. My wife booked the Everett Hotel (Room #10) as we were taking a weekend trip with some friends. Upon our arrival were graciously greeted by one of the owners in which we asked if we could check in early in which he said yes, and offered to put a cone out front to reserve a parking spot on the street. The room was beautiful and well appointed with plush linens, robe etc. and very comfortable. Even the mini fridge was even stocked with fresh milk for coffee in the morning. That evening we had dinner in the dining room in which I had asked where I might buy some ear plugs (as I'm a lite sleeper) in which one of the owner's offered to go get them for me a block down the street in which I replied "Not necessary... Just point us in the direction."..... Well..... much to my surprise when we walked past the front desk after dinner they manager said "Here are the ear plugs you asked for". REALLY?? Who does that... No one.... No way would I ever ask or expect someone to do that. I was blown away by the owners & staff in their genuine desire to do whatever they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The Food, Room, Staff is all first class in this little gem. My wife and I travel extensively in and out of the country & we have stayed at some very nice places. All I can say is the hospitality business could learn a lot from these folks. We have already told many of our friends about the Everette and we look forward to returning in the near future. Thank you again for a wonderful & memorable experience. Please share this post with the entire staff as it takes a team effort to accomplish what you have at the Everette Hotel. Thank you...
