Friendly if you’re not in there with small children that are reading cards to send in the mail. Store lady came over and very unprofessionally questioned my kids (while I was just right there and could have instead been approached) on whether or not they could recall where they’d gotten the cards they were reading because she had just stocked them; Then proceeded to take a card out of my child’s hands.

I don’t care if you just put them out, how are you supposed to select a card if you can’t read it first? And it wasn’t like my kids were tearing her store apart. They were just reading the cards. We won’t be returning. We will give our business to the dollar store that sells dated hallmark cards for half a buck or the Ingles...

We were visiting in BC on 11/7/24 and walked into this Hallmark store to look at the new ornaments. The lady( I think was the owner) never spoke to me or Even looked up. She was busy with her dog. She did spend time with a couple that was also there( who happened to be my family)but never noticed that I was at the register or another young couple(not family) that were patiently waiting also. She finally walked up to the register and checked them out without any exchange/no greeting and no thank you to either of us!
