✨🥣 ENTIRE CAFE DEDICATED TO SOUP (AND SANDWICHES) IN BURLESON🥣✨ #FortWorthLoveList // I’m here today to talk about my post passionate topic, soup. Is there anyone else that could eat soup once per day?? If this is you, let us turn you on to Stone Soup Cafe in Burleson. To be fully honest, the drive is far because of construction. I’d wait in mid-day traffic for it though, that is how good this place is. Each day there are 2 soups available, plus an entire sandwich menu that is to die for. The bread is so soft and cloud like - I can’t explain it but the sandwiches are also not to be missed. There are 10 different soups available each week - check their website for the week’s lineup. 📍LOCATION // 333 SW Wilshire Blvd, Burleson, TX 76028 HOURS // Monday - Friday 8:30am - 3pm Add it to the Love List 💕✨ #fortworth #fortworthtexas #soup #soupcafe #souprestaurant #fwtx #dfw #dfwrestaurant #burleson

This place is the perfect combination between a tea room and a deli shop. All of their sandwiches have a plenty of meat (like 4-6 slices) and the bread is so soft! If your vegetarian their veggie sandwich has enough yummy mushrooms and bell peppers to make you forget about the meat. The star of the show for me is their POTATO SALAD. I never knew a side dish could make you wish it was a main dish. Broccoli cheese soup was very filling and a great combo to the sandwich. Every sandwich comes with a cute little bite size cookie

First time here so can’t justify 5 stars…but close. I had chicken salad. It’s my go-to for first time. Like tacos or enchiladas at Mex place. If you can’t do that right I don’t want to try anything else. Sandwich was fantastic though n sourdough. Berry friendly and nice staff. Place was clean and daily quiet. Thanks for the free little cookie. Unexpected surprise.

It’s such a shame, I’ll NEVER order from Stone soup ever again!!!! I usually go every Tuesday because I love the soup on Tuesday. I get a half a sandwich with it. My total is different every time I go. Only a $1 or $2 I never complained I just always was like whatever it’s fine. When you walk in no ones is greeting you like most restaurants do, hi, hello what can I get for you? NOTHING! The service from here is absolutely trash and disrespectful. Also, I brushed it off. Not a big deal just get your soup get out. Okay, so today! I try and call to make a to go order per usual... no answer, assuming they are busy. So I give it a few minutes and call again, no answer. Wait call again, still nothing I pass by it going to get my kids their food. 2 cars in the pArking lot and I’m like okay they should answer now, but still no answer. So I pull up call again so I don’t have to wait inside for my food no answer! For like the 5th time. Whatever, I grab the kids and go in to order I get to the counter & no what can I get you? So I wait... I waited for them to ask what I needed because isn’t that their job? So, me and this girl are just looking at each other. Finally she asked. Ummm, what can I get you. I told her my order, again my total is different but whatever, it was cheaper this time 🤪 When I asked about the phones being down the girl at the front short black hair with the most disrespectful attitude um we are busy and rolled her eyes. There are 3 people in th whole restaurant not including myself. So if your busy you can’t answer the phone and say hey we are busy mind if I put you on hold? So I asked the co owner (Barry) about the disrespectful employees and how no one can answer the phones and that my total is always wrong his response was ummm, I’m sorry idk how to help you or answer what your saying....

If you can’t work in the restaurant industry and do customer service, GET TF OUT 👏🏻👏🏻 We don’t owe anything to y’all, y’all owe us a good experience when walking into your restaurant. DO...

Never been here before and my family told me they had a great experience when they came. Took me for the first time. I went inside and was immediately greeted with a poor attitude. We came about 20-25 minutes before closing, as we were pressed for time, and this was the closest healthy option to our location. I ordered my food and this larger bodied brunette haired female was rushing me and my family to order, and then when asked if I would eat inside or take it to go, I said inside. She got snappy and was like "well you know we close in 15 minutes." Im like, umm? Okay? Anything else you need to add? I also asked what the crossiant bread in the back was made for and out of, and she rolled her neck and held her hand up like I was stupid. Like your menu has different bread options and I wanted to know what type of bread the crossiant was. She huffed and looked at me I just said know what nvm. Can I use it for a sandwich or not? At this point I was so done with this girls attitude. Like hefer. Then when her manager asked her to wipe down tables, she was like "well I cant because I have to wait on that table." Pointing to ours. Mind you it was 5-6 other tables that were being used and even customers after us who came in who were not treated as poorly. Other than an older woman who came in and was promptly and loudly told "yeah we are closed so we cant take anymore orders today." And then lady was like "i thought yall closed at 3?" They were like "no we close at 2:30. Thanks"

You can tell the quality and taste of the food is as bad as their attitude because nothing was good, everything was so cold it tasted like it came out the freezer, and even my toddler daughter who eats everything threw her food on the table and floor. Ridiculous service and terrible food. First time and last time. Will not be...

This was an unfortunate experience for us. Called in with 4 separate orders and asked for delivery to our location and was told that it would be at least 90 minutes until they could deliver our food. Since we all clock in and out for lunch, I opted to send someone to pick it up instead, and let's just say that I am glad that I did because when we arrived to pick it up, there on the wall, for all the world to see, and potentially steal, were the credit card numbers we gave as payment over the phone! Very irresponsible on the part of this business owner to display credit card numbers and expiration dates on the tickets they use for orders. When it was brought to the attention of the cashier/counter girl, she was very rude and we were told that they had "been doing it this way for 8 years", and that we were the only ones upset about it. My guess is we're the only ones that have noticed it since it was a "to go" order instead of a delivery.

Once the food was picked up and brought back to our place, there were two mistakes on one order, and when we called and asked that they fix it and deliver the replacement, we were told once again that it would be another hour before it could be brought us.

Today's incident will be the last time we do business with this restaurant. I will add that we were called back by Terry( a manager?) and we told her we were all upset that the card numbers were on display. She said that they "normally don't do that, but we were so busy" that they did it that way today, which is obviously a complete contradiction to what the counter girl told us. As of now, it's been over an hour, the replacement food has not arrived, and we're all hoping that no one has compromised our...
