Was given a Christmas gift (12/25)purchased from the Burlington, NC Dillards location. The gift giver provided a gift receipt with the item that was purchased on 12/23/2021 @14:28. Due to the item being an incorrect size, I needed to exchange/return. Took item along with gift receipt in 01/05/2022, I was told it was a 3 day return policy. (FOR A CHRISTMAS GIFT?!?! really?). Keep in mind the receipt does not indicate (front & back-pics attached) any thing for 3 days-it says 30 DAYS Returns. Poor business practice for Christmas along w/ COVID restrictions. The manager said "sorry it is not my problem". This only fueled my anger. I will never shop "Dillards" again. I will tell everyone I know my experience as I will hang the item in the salon for all to see and ASK questions. One of the clients who heard me on the phone w/ the manager of Dillards advised me she had heard a lot of people who had stopped shopping there for many reasons. Poor C.Service focus will expedite the demise of Dillards. In researching return practices for other Dept. Read moreI visited Dillard’s at Burlington Crossroads today around 4:30 PM with my family, and unfortunately, it was a very unpleasant experience. One of the store associates yelled at my daughter for trying on shoes, which I found completely unnecessary and unprofessional.
My daughter was understandably upset and ended up in tears because of how harshly she was spoken to. As a parent, it’s incredibly disappointing to see such rudeness towards a child, especially in a family-friendly store like Dillard’s. The associate could have handled the situation with much more kindness and respect.

She educated me from raybans to Jim Mali? Dang she's good. Then educated me on fragrances and perfumes? Another sale. Then we got the hand bag. As a top sales rep for Honda . I know what it takes to win people and she has it. We left spending more than I expected but also felt amazing for all the personal service she offered. Gift wrapped everything and introduced me to the store manager. Really made me fell good about everything. She wins sales person of the year award from me. Could not be better unless they hired me.
