Simon Pearce — Local services in Burlington

Really disappointed. Had 2 vases ordered for Christmas gifts this year after having bought many pieces of Simon Pearce glassware over the years. The vases arrived and were much larger than was specified on the website. That is to say one is much larger, with one noticeably smaller by nearly 3 inches. I understand and appreciate that handmade items will each be unique and different but these vases resemble virtually nothing to the design I chose via the website. When we inquired about a return we were told because they are a discontinued product they could only offer us a store credit. At no time during purchasing were we informed that it was final sale. No place on the official website does it say these vases are discontinued, only out of stock. For their part, an apology was offered and they assured me that the website information and final sale information was something they needed to work on. Incredibly disappointed that a company I, and my family, have loved for so many years would be so unaccommodating with our request for a return. It has really tarnished the image I have of this brand and I sincerely doubt I will ever make a purchase...

Felt uncomfortable shopping in here...no one helped me and the conversations between staff members made me not want to support...
