Right on Church St., this bagelry is a great spot for breakfast or lunch! They have a wide variety of bagels, bagel breakfast sandwiches, sandwiches, baked goods, and coffee drinks. The Catamount breakfast sandwich (egg, pepper jack cheese, avocado, and spinach) was amazing. I got it on the Asiago and red pepper bagel which was really good, but it was hard to get the flavor of the bagel with all the other goodness. We liked the bagel sandwiches so much that we went there a second morning for bagels and cream cheese! They have a lot of cream cheese options, and the bacon scallion was awesome. Between the bagel and cream cheese, the cream cheese was the best thing--the bagels have a dense texture that make them slightly less tasty alone than when as a bagel sandwich. I definitely recommend getting food here--they have lots of seats inside, including some upstairs by tall windows that let in gorgeous morning light.

The Burlington Bagel Church St. location was our favorite breakfast spot during a recent trip to Lake Champlain. The bagels were fresh and chewy, and the breakfast sandwiches were delicious. I’d even go so far as to say the Triple B sandwich is spectacular no matter what bagel you choose to have it on. Picture this: egg, bacon, cheese, hashbrown, and chipotle mayo layered in between halves of a fresh bagel. Absolutely delicious. I had it one day with an asiago & roasted red pepper bagel, and another day with a Montreal spice bagel. My husband had egg, cheese, and sausage on Montreal spice bagels and a hashbrown on the side. These sandwiches are generous and so filling, we didn’t eat again til dinner. We’re back home now and really miss hitting Burlington Bagel for breakfast. Go try a Triple B right now!

Not sure how over the course of 2 decades of travel to VT this flat lander missed this place each visit. On the most recent jaunt to BTV, I was literally just trying to make a left hand turn off of Shelburne Road , so as not to become hopelessly snarled in traffic , and I pulled into BBB to catch my driving breath back. After a moment of thought , I decided it was post lunch time , but heck I felt like a nosh. Ordered a BLT on a toasted onion bagel. OMG - crisp lettuce, just the right amount of firm tomato , incredible bacon ( VT , right?!) and the bagel - sweet mercy , perfect crunch , not too doughy inside , great onion flavor - I sat outside on the convenient picnic table and relished every bite. And immediately made plans to arrive at first light ( well , opening) the next day. And indeed I did. Had the triple B , a heavenly breakfast sammi of egg, cheddar (VT!) , bacon, and a HOME FRY PATTY on a Vermont Country Bagel w/chipotle mayo . I cried joyous tears of yum , it was so good. I actually went back in after consuming it to applaud the staff - they seemed slightly taken back but remained cheerful as this out of state weirdo extolled the virtues of their amazing bagel creativity. And on my final day in the Green Mountain state , I returned for yet another BLT -this time with cheddar ( because -VT!). I am smitten with Burlington Bagel Bakery. I shall most definitely return to work my way through the rest of the scrumptious menu. ** edited to add this review was meant for the South Burlington location. Told ya, directionally confused Flatlander here. But...

To start the fact that y’all politics are crazy wanting higher minimum wage when you can barely get workers is crazy. This place has a sign they pay $25 and up per hour. Politics aside. You’re making 50k+ to serve bagels you better be amazing. Shouldn’t that make you give great service? Apparently not.

June 5th around 9am…

Walking in I was confused where to go. Then I ordered and paid and the worker the shorter of the girls working took my payment and turned away I had to wait for the other girl working to get a receipt. I then sat there. Now pleasantries and now smiles the whole time I sat there. I watched the guy making the bagels screwed up someone else’s order and watched probably 10 people after me get their order. I walked back up to the counter abd they were confused to see me I said hey remember me I ordered the avocado toast bagel. He said oh yeah I forgot. SMH! To cap it off it was raining outside abd they knew I was taking it to go so when they delivered it to me it was in a bowl with no top. So I walked back to my hotel in the rain holding and open bowl...

This used to be my favorite bagel place in Burlington but my experience yesterday ruined it. I went with my friends and ordered two EVERYTHING bagels and plain cream cheese. My friends was standing right next to me and heard everything. We pay and everything is fine but when my bagels come out the girl hands them to me and says “two plain bagels with cream cheese” I say “excuse me, I actually ordered two everything bagels not plain.” She looks at me and with the rudest tone says, “No you didn’t”. My friend backed me up and told her that I in fact did order two everything but the girl continued to stare at me with an unpleasant expression and said “That’s not what I heard”. She then offered to remake them but I cut her off after she said “but…” and said it as fine and left with the plain bagels. She caused an unnecessary scene and everyone in the store was staring at us. She never apologized for her mistake and was incredibly rude. This is a customer service job and you should never use that tone with customers and never lie when you make a...
