Zinnia — Local services in Burlington

I love this store but always have terrible experiences with the staff. They will stare you down and follow you around in a tiny store. There have been multiple times where I have wanted to make a purchase but left without buying anything because it feels like you are in a high security prison. Went in last night with a friend and the cashier yelled at us to get out and said we were over the max capacity which is understandable but we counted the number of people inside and there was room for 3 more. After waiting for people to leave we finally went in because she wasn’t letting us know when we could and we walked in she said we were still over the limit. When we got to shop she stood directly behind us at the ring stand without saying a word until I finally turned around and said hi to her. She was eyeing the rings I already had on my hand and I owned, I felt so uncomfortable I wish I had taken them off before going in. She left when other customers called to her and even then she kept turning around and watching every few minutes. Dear owner of Zinna Jewelry, You have a lovely store in a pretty area. Too bad you tarnished the image by being a bit combative with AP when they were filming the area. The many followers of AP purchase from companies that are respectful and pleasant during the filming. Being filmed unknowingly from a public place and seeing the real perspective is a good sign of how a customer would be treated. I commend you for disengaging at the end which showed maturity. I hope you will quickly overcome this set back and use it as a learning curve as a business owner to respect the rights of people in general. Unfortunately your website is currently down and we are unable to view your inventory. You may wise to offer a discount to those that have been put off by your display of arrogance and disrespect.
