If I could give zero stars to this location, I would. As a Canadian customer, I visited three nearby Target stores today. Marysville, Burlington & Bellingham. This was definitely the worst Target in terms of stock and cleanliness. But that didn't bother me too much. However, I picked up two "Holiday" tee shirts (for my daughters) from a stack of graphic tees. They were showing 0 when I checked the price with the store self scanner. I asked a manager to scan them for me and she wouldn't allow me to buy the tee-shirts that I picked up off the shelf?! She said she's not "allowed" to sell this to me. This was absurd to me. She was rude about it. When I asked if I could speak to customer service, she replied "I'm the manager."
I'm not super familiar with Target and their policies but in Canada the customer is always right and if something is on the floor with a tag, you have to sell it. ALSO, at the Marysville Target (one hour earlier), a few Christmas hair-bows and hair bands (for my daughters) were showing 0 as well and the cashier rung them in under Holiday seasonal at 90% off with no issues. So I had a strong feeling that the Burlington manager was just trying to show her authority. Ha ha. I will never visit this Target again. Avoid!
I couldn't even get the manager's name as she was wearing a cardigan over her name tag. But she was working today...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCustomer service at this location just sucks. I went there to pick up my wife's online order and thought I might buy a bottle of liquor. I get why they lock it up, but I don't get why they don't respond to their fancy little buzzer device. After regularly hitting it for five minutes (not exaggerating), I decided to call the store. It rang until the line finally went dead, then called twice more with no answer. I didn't quit hitting the button in the meantime, but now we're minimum ten minutes in. So I walk to the front of the store to find someone stocking shelves who told me he didn't have a key but can call someone. He pulled out his walkie-talkie and requested service, so I walked back to the back of the store where the liquor aisle is and waited another five-plus minutes. At this point, I decided Target doesn't get to have my business, but I still had to pick up my wife's order at the service desk. Naturally, there are two employees there just lounging and chatting. I complained about the pathetic service and told them, "No, I don't want to have someone help me because I'm taking my business elsewhere." I got the bored "whatever" look in reponse. I typically have avoided Target because of non-service and certainly won't be shopping...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTarget Corporate has said ā...Given the CDCās updated guidance, Target no longer requires fully vaccinated guests and team members to wear face coverings in our stores, except where itās required by local ordinances. Face coverings continue to be strongly recommended for guests and team members who are not fully vaccinated and we continue our increased safety and cleaning measures, including social distancing, throughout our stores...ā. Why am I still asked to put a mask on when your own corporate and local mandate says vaccinated individuals donāt have to wear masks? I donāt think this location is allowed to play by...
