My family and I went to This Red Robin location after the tulip festival on 4/18/21. Party of 6 with 2 small children, upon arrival at 11:10am 10 minutes after opening we had been told to wait in the lobby because their dining room servers didn't start until 11:30. After waiting past the 11:30 mark 2 families of 4 had walked in and been seated immediately while our family continued to wait in the lobby. When we asked about why we hadn't been seated, three people at the hostess stand replied because the server is not clocked in yet. We asked why two families had came in after us and been sat away but we are still waiting 20 plus minutes. One of the workers replied well we notified you so why didn't you come to get seated? We were in the front of the lobby and right in front of the host stand waiting for 20 plus minutes. Never once did any of the workers inform us our table was ready or provide an update. We were only asked to give a name for the wait list because we were waiting in the lobby. Both restrooms were disgusting, two of the toilets had puke in them including all over the floor. There were no trash bags or paper towels In the restroom as well. We were there at 11:10, they had just opened which means no one cleaned the bathrooms from the night before. After getting mistreated by the staff and waiting for almost 30 minutes, and seeing the conditions of the restrooms my family and I decided to leave before getting food posionsed or spit in our food. My family and i were publicly harassed and mistreated. Not only are their restrooms disgusting but the staff they choose to hire as well. It was very sad and poor to see how I was treated and cursed at by the staff In front of my two young children. Good luck for whoever chooses to eat here when they can't clean the restrooms properly and see customers standing right In front of them, who would trust them to cook meals...
Read moreI really wanted to give 1 or 2 stars because this Red Robin always has either really terrible wait times or messed up food which has made for some frustration but we do keep coming back. My kids love their burgers, clucks, fries, ranch + they always choose to come here for their birthdays. More often than not I've ordered salads & they had SLIMY and brown lettuce so I gave up on those and recommend to not ever get the salads at this Burlington location. The employees are great, friendly. The wait time - I'm assuming they're always understaffed - is Always a very long time. If you walk in and see there are only a few people sitting at tables- don't be fooled! You will still wait 15 minutes to be seated (even longer sometimes and this is for a mostly empty restaurant). It always surprises me how long we wait for our food after we've ordered, far longer than it should be. All our pick up orders have always been 30+ minutes longer than they pick up time specified - one time it was 72 minutes after the time we were supposed to receive our food, half of that was sitting in our car, the other half just chilling in the lobby = great times when you have young and hungry kids. 3 out of our 5 experiences with pick up has resulted in receiving wrong food items so its pretty iffy in that regard and very irritating after waiting so long. As far as Red Robins go, it is not the best location. However, it is what it is and we keep coming back so there is that. I think as long as you go with low expectations and know you will be there for a while + a little longer,...
Read moreMy last experience at Red Robin was during the pandemic. Back then, I ordered food to go, and went home and ate it. This is my first time back since July, 2020, and I have to say I was absolutely amazed. I skipped the line and went to the bar and was served by a young man named Chris who did everything he could to make my stay as pleasant as possible. He didn't just give me all the attention, he took care of all of his customers in the same outgoing and courteous way. I've grown so tired of getting served food by people who are indifferent and bordering on rude, (and in some cases actually rude.) This young man was a breath of fresh air. The atmosphere at Red Robin is always kind of a party, so nothing really could be done more to change that. As to be expected, prices are a little steep, but it was well worth the money to get treated like a friend rather than treated like your server would rather be anywhere else in the world. This food and drinks came after a challenging day at work, so it was such a sigh of relief. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody. One of the things that drew me to it was the fact that they have gluten-free options. I was able to eat a regular gigantic hamburger with a gluten-free bun and a side salad. I didn't feel like a freak ordering it. Years ago, this restaurant used to be pretty unpleasant for a Red Robin. (I have eaten at A LOT of Red Robins.) I can honestly say, the improvement is incalculable. PLEASE NOTE: My stated price of $30-50 included a "Monster Burger" and two adult beverages, which inflated the...
