I just have to say. I was so excited to go to a movie finally since the covid pandemic. Until I was greeted by the staff in AMC theater @ Cascade mall. Every single employee had the worst customer service skills I've ever experienced! I'm not exaggerating either. It was so bad... From the food and drinks counter to the grounds keepers. All of them look so beat down and depressed! Their attitudes were attributes of employees I would never let work for me. No smiles (yes you can tell threw a mask). no politeness. The part I was least impressed with. Was the manager of AMC. I Lost my phone during the godzilla vs Kong movie. I called the next day and was put on hold for 25 minutes by the manager. After no one came back I called back and a girl answered the phone. I explain to her what had happened and she said oh that's unacceptable. So she went to see what happened. Then came back and said I'm sorry your phone is not in the lost and found and our manager did a detailed search of the theatre that you were in. We can't find it...So I was forced to turn on my tracking. It showed that my phone was Indeed at AMC theater. So I called back. The girl answered the phone again and I explain that my tracking indicated that the phone was there. She said in a very upset manner OK well I will go talk to my manager. A few minutes later the manager came on the phone and explain to me that he had done a very detailed search. I explained Where exactly I was sitting. what row and what number seat I had. I told him I was on my way to come and look for myself if they would allow it. So when I got there I was greeted by the front counter. The manager came to meet me and he walked me into the theatre. I looked exactly where I was sitting and there my phone was sitting exactly under my seat. Who knows when I would have got my phone back and in what kind of condition. If a detailed search = nothing. The only positive feedback I have about this experience is the manager allowed me in to look. If I depended on them to find/look for my phone. I probably would have never got it back. Even this manager encompased the experience I got from every employee working there. Witch was not good! Not good at all. On a positive note. I recommend seeing Godzilla vs Kong. It was...

The staff have taken a definite down turn in the past couple months. I subscribe to MoviePass (look it up if you don't know what it is, it's awesome!) and I try to see 4-5 movies per month (about once a week if I can). The past few times I've gone this month have been such a hassle.
Sunday I went to go watch a movie and the kiosk errored on me. The ticket taker said "oh this happened earlier with another customer and my manager let them in, let me call them down." Manager came down and baisically said sorry can't really do anything about it guess you're S.O.L.
Wednesday night (tonight) I went to go see the new Ready Player One movie. I was late getting out the door of my house (kiddo didn't want to go to sleep immediately (and yes my wife was at home sleeping for her graveyard shift) but finally got her to go to sleep with 5 min to curtain). I get there and run to the door and it's cutting it close, I'm 12 min after the movie has started, (according to my phone) but the doors are all locked. I call and they say the lock the doors at 15 min after the last film. After my last incident with them I decided not to press it. Policy is policy and I get it, but it was early and I wasn't the only one who came to the door.
Anyways they are within their right to do whatever they want but I think after wasting an hour each one of these times I'm done going here for a while. I'd rather spend the extra 30 min each way to go to a comfortable theater where their last showing...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent to Movie tonight at 7.30 p.m. group of 6 teenagers came in and weāre changing seats repeatedly, turning phones on, coming in and out of the theater, and grouped up together doing in the aisle. I watched them for a minute and they saw me. One of the males came over to where I was sitting with my wife and sat down next to us one seat away.
We went out to the front and made a complaint. The girl was was very sorry about our experience and credited us our money back. She said they were having trouble with those people earlier. She said they would give us a pass to come back another time to see the movie. The manager, Shawn, came down and said nothing to us. He demanded to see our stubs. The girl said she had already taken care of the refund. Shawn again demanded the stubs from her. He refused to give s the pass. He asked us, do you want another free movie. He also had a very sarcastic smirk on his face. I told him we had spent 26 dollars on food, had seen half the movie, and now had to leave due to his failure in handling disruptive persons in the theater. Shawn made a disturbing experience worse by implying that we were trying to get something for nothing. Shawn was rude to us and did his best to make a bad situation worse.
With the issues in movies theaters now we expected AMC and Shawn the manager to respond much more professionally. The Burlington AMC manager failed in creating a safe environment for and also failed in having any idea about customer service.
I think I will be trying Bellingham...
