T.J. Maxx — Local services in Burlington

I love how organized and clean the store looks. Everything is easy to find and the employees were nice and friendly. The bathrooms were very clean too. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because they charged me twice for my entire purchase which is kind of scary but when I returned to the store the cashier was helpful and nice and assured me that the charge should be dropped by the next day from my account.

Edit: My experience regarding the double charge to my account was very confusing and frustrating. The charge to my account wasn’t dropped like I was told so I’m giving the store a lower rating. I was told two different things by the employees at TJ Maxx until eventually I called my credit union and they were able to fix it. I love the prices and variety at TJ Maxx but ultimately I don’t think the stress of whether or not they’ll double charge me again is worth it so I probably won’t go back. I don’t like leaving negative reviews but it’s just more trouble than it’s worth to buy...

I’ve always loved TJ Maxx and have never had problems in any location I’ve been in (all over the U.S) but today, I went into TJ Maxx to return a shirt & pair of pants my husband didn’t like because they fit a little too snug for his liking, & to get luggage tags. I asked an employee where the luggage tags were & she was really sarcastic in saying “where all the other luggage stuff is.” Then when we went to the register to purchase the tags & return the clothing my husband didn’t want, the cashier had the audacity to smell the shirt & say it smells like it was washed. Really? While the tags are still on them? I won’t be returning to this TJ Maxx. I’ll drive to Everett whenever I want to go to TJ Maxx...
