This used to be a weekly place for me and husband to eat. Food was great fresh tortillas, and tacos had a good amount of meat- we loved it over all other places nearby. But things have gone downhill fast. It started with the salsa a while back we would order 8-12 tacos and they want to give 4 half full salsas and when you ask for more they give you one & then want to charge additional if that was not enough. It’s absurd to me to spend $50+ and can’t get enough salsa for your tacos. I tried to overlook it and kept going. Next, they stopped putting enough meat in the tacos and you end up eating mainly tortilla, cilantro and onion with a splash of salsa if you could make it stretch that far. Today we went and the tortillas looked and tasted like they were bagged tortillas and they were literally half the size as before and no meat inside (wish I would have taken a pic) I paid $5.50 for 4 bites of food. My husband got a torta and same thing no meat and his bread was stale. Don’t know if we will be going back. We are very disappointed. This used to be my favorite spot. Now we will be frequenting the taqueria in La Loma Bonita. They food is good and they are not skimpy with the meat-so you get your money’s worth and don’t leave feeling like you were taken advantage of like I did today and a the last few times at at...

We needed a quick bite before a show at the ames and stopped here. The local is in a strip mall with ample parking. As you peer into the store front it looks very small from the outside well that's because it is. We walked in and were greeted right away and the aromas inside were uplifting and brought new life to me as my stomach stopped growling. The menu was very mighty for a small place and I ordered the barbacoa tacos and a Mexican street corn.

We waited and before we could sit down the food was out. You would think the guys in the back worked at the Honda assembly line they were so fast and efficient. The taco was very good and filled with flavors. The onions and what not tasted freshly cut and not some that were from a can or refrigerated for days.

The street corn well.... the corn itself was very buttery and juicy and we felt we has to wear safety goggles to prevent it from getting in eyes after every bite. The fixings were lacking and it did not have much of thr mayo cream sauce on it as I get from the local elote lady in saint paul. The cheese was good but was also lacking the lime zesty taste. It had lots of chili powder on it.

Overall it was good. I gave it 5 stars and will go back when I have more time to try their food. For...

Horrible experience. I went up to place my order and I said I would like a burrito. After waiting a ridiculous amount of time, I was order 120 and they had gotten up to 124 before they called mine, I went up to get my food. I looked at my tray and it wasn't a burrito. It was the gorditas. So I told the cashier that I had ordered a burrito and she laughed and said "oh, I thought you said gorditas." I asked her to please make a burrito with just meat, cheese, and rice. After waiting another 5 minutes for my food, I took a look inside. It had meat, cheese, rice, pico de Gallo, and guacamole on it. I walked up to the counter and said I had asked for meat, cheese, and rice only. The customer continued to argue with me about what was placed with the order. During this a cook came over and started arguing with me as well. I told her I wanted a refund for my food. She told me she wasn't able to do that because there was no manager there and offered to remake my food AGAIN. I told her no, I just wanted a refund and I was done with that place. After waiting about 10 minutes for her to call the manager, I finally got my refund. Would highly NOT recommend this...

Went in and asked about the menu item Gordita's, basically wanted to know what kind of shell was being used. the cashier spoke very limited English so she couldn't explain anything to me so she googled a picture of dish. Okay cool. Chalupa type of shell I'm okay with that so I order Gorditas. And Mexican corn. Got home and realized I had made a huge bad decision. Spongy shells, brown lettuce, soggy elote. I just got back into town and wanted something quick and good. I could have gone to Taco Bell and had better results. I 10/10 would not recommend this location. I have been to Apple Valley and it was fine.

Tables are usually dirty. Added star for the salsa bar, green and habanero salsas are great. Would be helpful to provide small sandwich bags for the cucumbers, limes, etc. Plenty of parking, about 10-11 tables total in the restaurant. Carne asada tacos 3.5/5 and are served with cilantro and onion. Quesabirria - 4/5 stars. served with 3 tacos and consommé (onion & cilantro) for dipping. $14. Tinga quesadilla was good, 4/5 stars. Option of flour or corn tortilla. I liked that as you usually are stuck getting a flour tortilla for quesadillas.
