Sad to see this mall so deserted. It really could be revitalized; it's a shame that doesn't seem to be happening anytime soon. It is incredibly clean and well-kept. It appears that there are only a handful of businesses left: Maurice's, Our Lady of the Rockies Gift Shop, and the movie theatre. If you miss the peak mall era or enjoy dead-mall vibes, this is a very cool visit.

As of today, September 15th, 2024, there are only 6 occupants left inside the mall. Maurice's, Riddle's Jewelry, JoAnn Fabrics, It's Greek to Me, Bulldog Outfitters, and the movie theatre. Hallmark is now closed, and so is every other storefront. Kinda fun to walk around when it's nearly conpletely empty with the music playing loudly.

It's a nice, quaint mall that unfortunately is going under as more major retailers pull out because Butte and the surrounding communities can't or won't support it, choosing instead to go to Missoula, Bozeman or Billings. It's sad because the mall is steeped in Butte history with the Carousel and Our Lady of the Rockies!!

We were visiting from out of town and were made to feel very unwelcome by the mall manager here. She made it clear to us that walkers had to wear masks(while shoppers dont) and there were only certain hours walkers were allowed to be there. Keep in mind there were fewer. than 2 dozen people in the entire place and 60 percent of the stores were shuttered. I have 2 comments. Walkers also shop! Probably not good for business to ban walkers. By the way, we are fully vaccinated and no one in any of the shops could explain to us why this policy makes any kind of sense. Maybe time for...

This mall is not worth the ground on which it sits and should be torn down to better serve the community. It is practically empty of businesses and the area would be better utilized with a shopping center/strip mall on it with the existing businesses in it, a grocery store (safeway) and a spot for the cineplex. The community deserves to have an upgrade to enhance the shopping experience instead of traveling out of town for...

Honestly, this place is very well maintained considering there is basically nothing left there. The management should do anything in their power to fill the spaces with literally anything. Even the casino shut down. If it wasn't for the call center, it would probably already be torn down like the one in Helena (which just made space for more totally unnecessary medical facilities).
