I have been there several times since they opened on April 25, 2018. The ambience is great! They have plenty of different seating with plugins for devices, a fireplace which is awesome, a big screen tv and a fireplace outside. The only drawback is the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. I realize it takes time for things to work smoothly and work together. But after two week. I ordered a Caramel Macchiato which the manager herself made, but she forgot to drizzle the carmel on the whip cream and there wasn't enough carmel in the drink to taste like a caramel drink. Other drinks are lacking flavor and taste. I give specific directions to whoever takes my order and it doesn't get communicated to whomever is making it. For instance, this morning I went through the drive through and ordered a roll and was asked if I wanted it warmed up, I told her NO. But I got it hot, without any utensils and I didn't want to eat it in my car. Another time I noticed two couples came inside and ordered drinks and something to eat. Another single person ordered a drink and something to eat, he sat across from me. All of them got their orders before me and walked out the door . Meanwhile I ordered first, sat and waited for my eats. The female manager on duty apologized, she is the same one who can't make a Caramel Macchiato! So when will they get their act together and communicate with one another to deliver...
Read moreI hope someone from upper management sees this. I used to love city brew but the quality and accuracy has gone too far down hill in the last 3-4 months. It’s my favorite coffee place so the first couple of months I’ve over looked the many many mistakes and really bad customer service. I visit every morning, Monday-Saturday, these past few weeks 4 out of 6 days of the week, sometimes more, there is a mistake with my order. It’s too frequent to overlook anymore. The disrespectful attitude from many staff members when asking them to correct the mistake can’t be overlooked anymore. I’m not sure speaking to the store manager has done much, she seems upset and annoyed with when brought the issues. I know I am not alone. My business is very close to this city brew location, a large portion of my employees stop in for coffee before their work day. City Brew’s mistakes, carelessness and bad attitude from baristas, are often a topic in our building, we all share the same experiences from this staff. I don’t want to stop getting my coffee and breakfast at City Brew. I’ve enjoyed it for many years. I just hope someone can step in, retrain staff, maybe replace some who clearly don’t want to be there. I’d be so grateful to return to yummy, quality, and correctly made drinks as well as friendly...
Read moreI don’t know why I gave City Brew another shot, hearing they got new management and new staff, I thought maybe my orders might start coming out right. When arriving in the drive through this morning we sat 18 miniutes behind a car that was sitting in silence, not order being taken. We questioned if the drive thru was open, so we called. The woman that answered said yes they are open and so sorry they didn’t know anyone was in drive thru, we were one of 6 cars. After hanging up I hear someone begin to take the cars order ahead of me. After finally getting through a very slow paced drive thru. The latte was missing whip cream we ordered and the sandwich we received was ice cold, not heated at all sausage frozen in the middle. We called to speak to a manager, the woman said she was a supervisor and asked us to come back so they can heat up the sandwich, really? Drive all the way back 15 minutes to have you heat it. Why were we given a frozen sandwich at all? We asked for the scone to be heated up and it wasn’t we were just handed a cellophane wrapped pastry with a sticker on it. If possible, I think it’s gone more downhill then when we stopped giving them our business...
