Linn's Gourmet Goods — Local services in Cambria

We’ve been fans of Linn’s in our family for well over 40 years. While routing up the Central Coast, I was sure to stop in for preserves & scone mix to bring my family in Monterey & Sonoma. I grabbed a couple other gifts for a select few too! The selections are fantastic. Chelsea & their whole team I engaged with on this visit are nothing short of top notch!! It appears that this place is an overpriced tourist trap. For example, their family size frozen Linn's Pies are $30.00 each. If you go to Albertsons in Morro Bay, the same pie is less than $20.00. Worse than that, the grocery store in town has the same frozen pies for $20.00. How could this be? Because maybe it's a tourist trap that's how. This is one of those "just because you can doesn't mean you should" moments. You are expected to pay a 50% premium just so you can say you bought the same frozen pie that the grocery store sells at a Linn's...

Our experience with Linn's Gourmet Goods was positive. This little country store carried lots of items that you may not find elsewhere. They also sell their famous pies, both in full-size and single size.

In addition to the single-serve Raspberry-Rhubarb pie, we also purchased a couple of hand-woven trivets, a tin of Mesquite-smoked almonds and some other tasty goodies. We also picked up an Olallieberry single-serve pie for our daughter.
