I've loved this store for ages but my trip today was such a delight that I had to write this review. I went in looking for a certain product and the woman that helped me, Andrea, was kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable. I was so impressed with her level of customer service, especially since I only made it in 15 minutes before closing. But she didn't rush me - she showed me several options and worked with me to find the perfect fit for my project, and I'm very happy with my purchase. This store always has fantastic products, an excellent selection of notebooks and a great pen collection. (The only downfall is they don't carry Delfonics Rollbahn notebooks, but to be fair, no one does!) Highly recommend for bullet journalers, notebook enthusiasts, greeting...

Visited today to purchase a fountain pen and potentially some other supplies for my sketching practice. The help I received from the salesperson was not very good. Despite explaining what I was looking for, they didn’t ask any questions or provide any expertise. Additionally, a second employee came over and actively talked me out of the purchase despite admitting no expertise in the space. Overall the store is well stocked but prices were 10-50% higher than other retailers. While I don’t like buying from Amazon, I cannot afford the Mom & Pop markup of 50%. This store has a good selection of fountain pen inks, pens, and paper. Though when I asked few questions I got some pretty lukewarm responses from the lady behind the counter. Later found a notebook I wanted but it was marked up by I think like 40%, it was a Rhodia notebook. I asked if they could price match and they declined.

I just wanted to enjoy the store experience of an obscure hobby to pick up some fun stuff, and hopefully meet some people there who were passionate about the hobby too. Maybe I just came at a bad time since it was near closing. I ended up finding that experience at Top Drawer down the road...
