I needed three immunizations on short notice, so I called ahead to this CVS and spoke to the pharmacist to make sure I could get them there. She told me that they could give me at least one of the three I needed at the pharmacy, and that the other two I could get for sure at the "Minute Clinic," where there was no wait. I immediately went there to get the shots. When I went up the pharmacy to let them know that I'd just called regarding vaccinations and that I wanted to get them, all three employees behind the pharmacy looked at each other. One said to the other: "Do you know where the vaccines are? I've never done one before. The other one said, "Do you want go just go down to the clinic? You can get them there." Not really, obviously -- that's why I came to the pharmacy first -- but I was in a compliant mood, so I went to the clinic. Of course I there was one guy in front of me at the check-in kiosk when I got there, so he got in first (other than the two of us, no one was there). FORTY FIVE MINUTES LATER -- they should call it the "Forty-Five Minute Clinic" -- I was welcomed into the office. What can I do for you today sir? I'm here for vaccinations, three of them. Which vaccinations do you need? -- "I hope TDAP's not one of them, because I just ran out. I can give you tetanus only though." Actually it is; I called ahead; I need meningitis, TDAP, and varicella. "We don't do varicella here, and like I said, we're out of TDAP, but we should have more tomorrow." All in all I was provided incorrect information (by the pharmacist on the phone); I encountered people who didn't feel like performing duties within the scope of their job responsibilities (at the pharmacy counter); I was made to wait far longer than seemed necessary, appropriate, or, certainly, advertised; and they'd "run out" of a vaccine that could get there overnight, meaning that they hadn't managed their inventory well. My message to CVS: If you can't do something competently, don't do it at all. My message to would-be CVS customers: Go somewhere else for your...
Read moreDuring my recent visit, after checking in, I stepped aside to make space for another customer. Angelina approached me with an unexpectedly stern and commanding tone, instructing me, “Don’t move,” and insisting that I should remain in my original spot. When I explained that I had not noticed any reminder indicating this, she responded with visible frustration, pointing at the glass and repeating her instructions in an unnecessarily aggressive manner.
I want to clarify that I do not expect overly friendly treatment, but I do believe that a basic level of politeness should be maintained in customer interactions. Her approach felt unprofessional and made me quite uncomfortable.
It’s important to mention that every other staff member I’ve interacted with at this location has been courteous, helpful, and professional. I’ve visited here before and next lady is very friendly.which is why this interaction stood out so starkly.and I'm thinking do I was targeted by her?
I hope this feedback can be used constructively to improve staff training and ensure a consistently respectful experience for...
Read moreI frequent this location often with my dog and have never had an issue before. My dog barked once at the reflection in the ceiling which caught him off guard and he got over it quickly. As I go to check out, one of the employees (older woman with blonde hair) approached me and said he can’t be barking in the store especially since he’s not a support animal. I explained the situation and said I understand we are checking out now. She then continues to speak of the situation (beating a dead horse). I got angry and frustrated with her where I am yelling at her to leave me alone so I can check out. She was relentless and yelling and honestly felt like she was attacking me at this point. I asked to speak to her manager. The Manager (tall guy) was calm and stayed with me while I checked out and even then she kept running her mouth. This woman was the worst person I’ve met who lacks customer service skills in the way she spoke to me. I hope she gets the help she needs and I will be reporting this incident to the...
