Deliciously Different — Local services in Canal Fulton

My family has now lived in Canal Fulton Ohio for about two months now, we recently move up from Florida. So far I love Canal Fulton it’s such a great town to live in and there is lots for you to do especially if you’re looking for things to do with your family. The town itself is very charming, has great history, and filled with great shops and restaurants for you to check out. One of the shops that Canal Fulton offers is a locally owned Candy Shop that is located in the heart of Downtown Canal Fulton on Cherry Street which is called Deliciously Different Candies. They have been in Canal Fulton for over forty years serving up sweet treats to generations of patrons. Like I said we have been in Canal Fulton for two months and my family has finally went to check out the Candy Shop and I am glad we did because our experience was quite amazing. I am the type of person who loves shopping at mom & pop type shops, I am a huge supporter of small businesses. First thing I noticed when we stepped into Deliciously Different Candies was the huge assortment of chocolate candies they had to offer, they also had your choice of Jelly Belly Jelly Bean Flavors which they sold by the pound. Jelly Belly are both my wife and I favorite type of jelly beans to eat. They also had a great selection of fudge, which they make fresh in the shop everyday. My son and I tried a sample of the peanut butter fudge which was Scrumdiddlyumptious. The owner of the shop Danelle, who has been working in the shop since her mom Becky Knapp founded the store over 40 years ago was an amazing owner. She had some of the best customer service I have ever received, she made my family feel extremely welcomed like I was one of her family members just top notch service from top to bottom. My favorite thing that I purchased from Deliciously Different Candies was Canal Mud which is the candy they are most famous for it’s a unique sweet treat that’s made up of chocolate, caramel, and dark chocolate it was so yummy in my tummy. Canal Mud was created by Becky Knapp who was also the founder of Deliciously Different Candies, I learned from an article they have up in the shop that she created Canal Mud for Canal Days which is a Festival held every year in Canal Fulton. This is such a wonderful little candy shop! I stop in often for a treat when I go to walk the towpath. I love the chocolate dipped pretzel sticks, haystack bark, caramel corn, canal mud, truffles, etc. The shaped chocolates are so fun too. Deliciously Different certainly lives up to its name. Their chocolate has a distinct but very good taste. They are best known for their Canal Mud, and their other signature item is Towpath Crunch. I highly recommend picking up a box of both.
