We were so excited to visit the Canonsburg location of Grandps Joe’s. We have been to the Mount Lebanon location, which is much smaller and although nice doesn’t give off as much character as this one. Let’s dive in!

We have been wanting to take our kids here for quite a while, and we were not disappointed! Walking in to the store, we were immediately greeted by a large table of Beetlejuice items. It’s nice to see that they keep up with trends! The store is very open with high ceilings, which gives it a large feel so it doesn’t feel crowded and cluttered. Not only do they have a ton of candy, but they have lots of racks of novelty items that are so much fun.

The store is also a great place to get together. In each window, there is a table and chairs with a couple different types of games that you can actually sit down and play. My kids were very happily surprised that they have a game room. When I say game room, I mean reclining chairs and a very large tv that you can play video games in. You pay per hour, but it is such a cool room and a great addition to the store.

Located in a former bank, I love that they were able to use the vault as a part of the store. It is called the VIP Vault, and once you earn enough snozberries (earned each time you purchase), you have a chance to earn enough to go into the VIP Vault and open a safe deposit box that has lots of fun surprises.

The ceiling has a train track with a train traveling around and rubber chickens hanging from the ceiling.

The best part…The $5 Candy Bar! An area to pack your own choices of candy into a box for only $5. So yummy!!!

Our kids found this place online, they were extremely excited about the "spend 50$ and get in the bank vault". We planned a day, drove 2 hours and came here to do exactly that. When picking out candy the girl behind the counter, with a complete attitude, informed us that "uh the vault is not open, you can redeem some other time, but you will not be going in the vault today"!!! The entire reason we drove all the way out here and it was for nothing and then to get an attitude about it. The website should not use something like that as a attention grabber when it's completely untrue. We definitely will not be...

This place brings nostalgia (from going with older generations). The train that rides around at the top brings the most nostalgia, and the prices are phenomenal. $5 for a choosing box of any candy? Yes please. The variety is amazing and the amount of soda (or pop) is amazing. Really love how some beverages are still made with glass bottles. Definitely recommend getting one of those mystery packages if they have them when you go, and you are unsure of what to pick.
