The power was cut to my PC and had boot issues so I had to find a repair shop close to me. However after searching there were no PC repair shops that wanted to look at my computer much less fix it. These guys however (Dorian and Andy) were extremely friendly and helpful. They didn't overcharge me for their time and did not add anything shady to hike the price up. They even let me watch to learn how to fix the problem as they did it. This was a custom pc build that I made 2 weeks prior. They fixed it quickly and efficiently even imparting some knowledge and tips that I will use in the future. They also updated and installed drivers that I had missed for free to help me out. I highly recommend Lotek to anyone needing reliable PC repairs in this area for a reasonable price. They were fast, efficient, trustworthy, and very friendly. After dropping my computer for diagnosis and repair, I received a quote of less than $50. This quote turned into over $125 after he kept the computer, told me it was working fine, and it could be picked up. Later, he said it needed a hard drive that he would purchase used from etsy. My computer doesn't work, at all. I offered to bring it back so the hard drive could be returned within 30 days as that was obviously not the issue and I had already explained I have an external hard drive. When he told me I could pick up the computer, he text back that he was flying out for a medical family emergency and I couldn't get it. I was told it could be delivered, then nothing. Told he has no phone service so he couldn't receive phone calls. Never, never responded to my texts since payment was made. I'm at a total loss as my computer doesn't work and he did not respond so I could at least get a refund of the hard drive.
