Hi there -
I have to apologize for being late in writing this email but I have been happily using my computer and almost forgot! A few weeks ago, my blue heeler, Sam, was under my computer desk happily chewing on his "tough" toy. Suddenly, he jumped from under the desk and turned around to look at something under there.
Well, at the same time, my computer turned off. Not realizing what actually had happened, I kept trying to turn the computer on, after verifying the plug was still in contact with my All-in-One monitor. Finally, I went to the wall plug and found my power cord "cut" in two pieces. With all that said, the mystery incident was solved by putting all of the events together as follows: Sam was chewing a toy under my computer desk; my computer suddenly went black; and my computer's power cord was in two pieces. . . yes, Sam accidently picked up the power cord while working on his toy and bit through the cord, receiving a small shock which made him suddenly jump out from under the computer desk. Whew!!
Wow....did I have a dilemma! I needed access to my desktop since I was in the process of planning my 55th high school reunion, which is no small feat without a handy, working computer. I needed a power cord yesterday!
I'm rather new to Canton and am not aware of a local computer store. It would take too long to order one, plus sometimes there's uncertainty that the right cord is ordered! I called a couple of friends who lived in Wills Point but they couldn't help me. Next, I got on my phone and googled "computer repair stores." The first source listed was "Sys Logic Technology Services LLC."
When David answered the phone, I felt I liked him immediately! His voice sounded very caring and genuinely concerned about my dilemma. He quickly searched the store and found a used power cord compatible with my computer. I asked for the cost and David replied we would figure it out when I get to the store.
At the store, David continued with the same manner of concern and caring and we talked for quite some time. He shared great info about virus/scam protection apps, resulting in my peaked interest in obtaining this software before my current one expires! David wouldn't let me pay for the used power cord. This act of kindness resulted in me finding a computer store and staff that this senior citizen, as well as new Canton resident, can trust and depend on for all of my computer needs and issues.
David is a wonderful employee and person! I feel like I made another local friend in him. Please use this email as a highlight for David's performance as an employee of Sys Logic Technology Services LLC.
Thanks for listening!
