Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Canton

So, I usually try to support the local Mom and Pop places when visiting my family. Unfortunately, the place was closed, but the Good Old Hut was open. Ordering online is worth a star, the lady at the window was worth a star, and the ease of pulling out on the main road was worth a star. I was going to leave a tip for the lady at the window for swapping out my marinara spice for ranch. I didn’t think it would be an issue and neither did she. In comes the manager and said, “No substitutions, and I’d have to buy the 3 small dipping sauces for the 3 orders of mozzarella sticks. I told the lady at the window, cancel that, I didn’t want to pay the additional $2 something for the ranch and I also said, because your Manager was being a tight azz, I wasn’t going to leave a tip. In a honesty, looking back now, if I wouldn’t have prepaid, I would have refused the entire order and let them deal with the waste. The lady working the window came back and I went ahead and tipped her in cash and said, Don’t grow into the person your manager is, she almost cost you a tip, but I can’t fault her for the manager’s actions. Bottom line, I’ll never support their box store in the small town again when...

The waitress was completely lost on how to do her job properly. They charged our card twice- once without the tip and once with the tip. Had to call and tell them so they could fix it and charge us only once. We ordered a personal pan pizza which stated up the three toppings. The toppings list included extra cheese with no charge stated anywhere for extra cheese but they still charge extra for it. When we queried the waitress about it all she kept repeating was "extra charge for extra cheese" regardless of what we asked. Upon speaking with a supervisor or manager on duty about the menu discrepancy, we were then informed they went ahead and put extra cheese on there for us. We get the receipt and they charged us for the extra cheese but were so nice and took $.50 off the ticket. (Sarcasm intended). Worst customer experience at a restaurant in a long time. Will not go...

Looks like any other Pizza Hut in America.. walked in with a co-worker.. we were immediately seated buy a thin young man who called himself a waitress.. okay it's a free country call yourself whatever you want.. I know this is weird but he tried too hard to be friendly.. instead of taking our order he spoke nonsense for about 10 minutes.. finally I ordered a medium Pizza and my coworker order a large pizza.. took about 20 minutes before he returned with only one large pizza.. ask him where my pizza was and he talked more nonsense.. it was like trying to talk with Joe Biden... He may have been stoned on weed.. He did offer to make a free 🍕 🍕 🍕 But we had to return to work.. The one pizza was very good .. We were just wondering what's the weird story was behind the weird...
