Patriotic Arms — Local services in Canyon Lake

Long review warning but I'm going to do it thorough and right: Been searching high and low for a hard to find Sig M18 handgun since they were put on the CA roster. Well, came across this little gem one day on the suggestion of my wife's hairdresser. But what is even better is that it was at a reasonable price instead of the usual exorbitant prices you find with highly sought after firearms here in Commiefornia. I spoke with both owners ( a couple) to feel them out and found out that they have integrity as well as a righteous business model. And that was to sell the right tool to their customers for their unique and specific needs while providing a great and smooth experience. I can get behind that! You sell the right tool to the right person to cover a need. Not just sell it to make a sale and then be done with it. I think this will be my new home since faith armory was shut down. They had me covered! Their inventory had a pretty good selection of both new and consigned guns compared to other local shops. Their prices aren't gouging you too much... for California anyways... They are attentive and listen to what you want. And they seem to be very knowledgeable just from what I gather as I have visited them 3 times in a 2 week period lol. I was looking for a new shop I could be a patron too and I think I have found it! I found a new home. I did have some difficulty with picking up my purchase after the 10 day wait period as they were closed on 3 of the days I was able to come get it which was a little frustrating. One of them was because they were attending their daughter's birthday so they left a note out front and closed early. But tbh... it was because of their family, and family always comes first so I give them a pass on that day. I do highly recommend this shop! I'm a veteran also, so it's a plus that they're veteran owned and I can support a mom n pop veteran owned company. Keep up the good work guys your shop is awesome! This thing...

Ammo brothers literally told me "this comes from corporate". They aren't the mom and pop kinda place I thought they were and they are definitely not worth our business unless/until they fix their mentality. Come here instead, this is an independent small business with awesome, knowledgeable, fair owners.

This was my first time at this shop and out of like 10 places I called they seemed like the best, and after coming here they definitely are.

Ammo brothers wanted almost 2x the going rate online for the exact same ammo. If I ordered from them I was getting ripped off.

Ammo brothers wanted 250% ($50) as much for a transfer limited to 1000rds. Here it's $20 for however many come in one shipping box no matter how many rounds or boxes of rounds are in the container, so if I had it shipped to ammo brothers I was getting ripped off. If you're ordering bulk ammo in the 1000's you're really getting ripped off.

The real issue is this, our state doesn't respect or honor the second amendment. Patriotic arms is trying to help people follow the law without ripping them off. Ammo brothers views our horrible state laws as an opportunity to gouge people on top of the laws limitations on us.

We can't order online directly so they will rip you off ordering it or rip you off transfering it. You have other options, come here or call around and find a similar business. This is an issue of principle. Ammo brothers is not supporting the community, their taking advantage. As a long time customer of theirs I was very disappointed but I am glad I found this store, I immediately felt even better about them then I ever did about ammo brothers. They were nice, knowledgeable, and more than fair. It felt more welcoming and my ammo will be here in a few days rather...

Very unprofessional, laughing stock of all retailers! Was orignally very excited to find Patriotic after buying some ammo from the Ontario Show. Text and messaged to ensure they'd be open when myself and two others made the trek out to them. Sent my name to them TWICE at 4pm the day prior and received confirmation that my name would be on the list to get in the gated community and that I'd be there an hour or so after noon. They responded ok we close at 7pm.

Next day at exactly 1PM we get to the gate and my name isn't on the list so now we have to deal with security. I frantically started calling them for the next hour trying to figure out what's going on, did we just waste all this time driving out here. For a whole hour they did not respond or have my name on the list even though they knew our group was coming today at that time! Forget it so we drive 5 mins to Canyon Lake were there is not one but TWO retailers in the same parking lot.

Between the 3 of us we each got about over a thousand rounds each and a new firearm each, roughly $5-7k that went to these reputable stores. The kicker was each store employee AND customers inside said Patriotic is a joke that sells out of their garage with faulty and cheap items!

Was really looking forward to finding a new niche dealer but forget it they are not reliable, waste your time and from what all the stores said sell sketchy items. Can't wait for the 10 days to be up to pick up my legit items without having to organize with a list of names or make an appointment on when/what...
