Do not purchase online items. False advertising. They bait and switch when you get to the store to pick it up. They tell you it's the same item but cheaper when its cheaper because its NOT the item advertised, ordeeed and paid for. Then when you call to ask why they say it's what the product number in their system says. So description and picture of product you purchased online is a different product when you get to the store to pick it up. We drove 50 miles each way for this specific item. The Living Accents Pineridge 3 Piece Rocking Set. It isn't in stock and the product they give you are not rockers. So now we have to drive another 100 miles to return it because our local Ace Hardware wouldn't let us return it because we didn't buy it there, even though the receipt says we can return to any Ace Hardware. More false advertising. I'll spend my money elsewhere in the future. Edit. See owners response.
Nice response owner when your employees admitted fault and that your employee did make the mistake when the person that picked up returned it to your store. Then your "manager" asked if we had receipt. Yes we do. if we opened. No we did not. Then she asked how do you know it's the wrong product if you didn't open. The picture on the side of the box is how. So not only did you sell us the wrong product then you did everything possible not to take it back. You are a sorry excuse representative of Ace. I was going to let it go but nope I'll be calling corporate back until they inconvenience you...

They are also are saying we don't trust you, but we want you to trust that we will not steal from you. Of course I want to know if they will be responsible if they hand my backpack to the wrong person... I will take my business elsewhere. I am seeing more and more of this at Ace Hardwares in Florida. Very dissapointing.
1/7/19 -Update They have removed the sign from the store window so looks like they reconsidered their policy. Good to see. I am now shopping there and would...
Read moreI have been living in the area and doing handy work for myself and my friends for over 20 years now. This is quite frankly my go-to place to get things done. The moment you walk in the door you will be asked what it is are looking for for and told how to find it. There is not a person who works in that store that does not know just about where everything is in that store. A little while back I bought a plug bolt and it turned out to be too long and one of the correct length was not available. They took it back to their shop and cut it down for me for free. That is what I would call customer...
