Small pocket park on the campus of the Cape Canaveral Public Library in "downtown" Cape Canaveral. Contains a small veteran's memorial (of course), a solitary picnic table, a few benches, some greenspace for your dog to run around (although Rover's dog park around the corner is better), and a small butterfly garden. Not a lot to it, but a peaceful spot to pay your respects. UPDATE: Construction is complete on the Veterans Memorial Park Smart Rain Garden, and this small pocket park has more than doubled in size. The butterfly garden and the giant chess board were sacrificed (not sure about the chess board, but the butterfly statue was moved to Cape Canaveral Community Park on the Atlantic Ave Pedway), but this beautiful addition, with many new benches and picnic tables, is a definite improvement over the old park.

This is a very nice park to take leisurely walks. Great for kids and strollers and totally handicapped-accessible ♿️ . The lakes are for water conservation. Playground for the kids and benches.
