Sean is one of the best employees here!!!! He is so amazing, so polite, so sweet!!!! And he does his job very well. He made sure that he accommodated all of my needs! And he made it very easy with all my children to help me make decisions on how to get a good deal for my whole family. He is a true lifesaver!! He's a young man, a teen. He doesn't work very often. But when I do see him I'm always glad that he is there. He works on the weekends mostly. So, next time you go, I hope that you can find that special young man. Sean, with piecing blue eyes. Who was so polite and gentlemen like! Opening doors and being especially helpful. I am sure that he has a very structured life! In order for him to be as sweet as he was, and as professional, at his young age it was a truly refreshing experience! And attending school at the same time! I love seeing young adults practicing for the real world! No laziness for this young man. I am so happy to see that there are places here in Cape Coral that are still hiring teenagers. I actually worked at this movie theater when I was young. I grew up in this city. I was born and raised here. This movie theater was my most cherished place to go every Friday night with my friends. We would all meet up outside. It was like the entire school would go, from every school in Cape Coral. I don't really see kids going out that often like we used to, when I was younger. I am 35 years young though. But a lot can change in 20 years. They have actually really fixed up the theater. Although, the costs are still outrageous. But that theater is actually one of the better ones if you are going to go out and see a movie for an extreme price. I would highly recommend a weekend when that young man, Sean is working. You go kid! He deserves a promotion or a raise. Compared to his coworkers around him I saw him doing circles around those people. I definitely have to give him some credit where it is due. And also give good credit to the theater for hiring teenagers locally. This is one of the last places left in Cape Coral that really fosters a healthy teenagers' activities. We really need to bring back more activities for these teenagers to do within Cape Coral. I have five children of my own, and I can't figure out hardly anything to do besides bowling, miniature golf, the beach, the park, the movies and the mall. Besides that, everything else is outside of Lee county. Anything worth going to anyway. Although the bell tower used to be a very good movie theate. I believe they just reopened it? But it's too far from where we stay anyway so we would like to have more of entertainment for younger children or adolescents to do and places for...
Read moreIf you’re planning in going here I’ll leave you with this, super comfy seats, and clean theatre rooms, HOWEVER, the bathrooms seriously need some upkeep as does the lobby, my husband and I went out for a night to ourselves since we work a lot, and were quite annoyed when we were checking out our drinks and the employee IS LITERALLY SWEEPING OVER OUR FREAKING FEET, didn’t even say excuse me, considering the rest of the lobby was a disaster that pissed me off to start. I also so not understand WHY ARE IDs NOT BEING CHECKED FOR R RATED MOVIES LIKE THEY USED TO DO. we went to go see Nosferatu because I’ve been excited to see it for weeks, tell me why there were 3 preteens laughing being loud next to us, I’ll be honest I was about ready to get rude so my husband instead leaned over and said “can you be quiet” they then sat back and left about 15 minutes later (still were being rudely loud, 30 minutes into the movie they left) which tells me they’re likely movie hopping. I’m an adult I’d like to see an adult movie without hearing children laughing obnoxiously because breasts popped onto the screen or dramatic scenes are happening and they’re going “omg literally what lol” and snickering loud enough for the whole theatre to hear, as we’re just trying to enjoy a MEANT to be dramatic movie preferably in peace… After the movie the 4 people seated next to us thanked my husband for speaking up because they were also ready to be rude and were very upset, that’s how disturbing and loud the kids were. I was lost for the first 30 minutes because they wouldn’t shut up. Start checking ID in the hall LIKE MOVIES USED TO, so adults can see movies without someone’s disrespectful brat kids who are unattended and acting out disturbing the movie we paid too much money too see the one time of year we go. This issue seems to be consistent please start having employees tend to who’s going into/being a disturbance in the theatre. Fix those issues and this place would be 5/5 in all honesty. It’s a great place, just clean up, have someone to kick out loud people like most places seem too, and stop hiring lazy jerks that sweep over your feet and act as if you don’t exist and there isn’t an ENTIRE rest of the room to be tended too, it’s a bad look on a...
Read moreDisgusting. Took my date here (Big mistake) the place was empty and should have been clue number one. Clue number two was when I walked up to the ticket booth and saw a girl with her phone on the counter texting away. Not exactly professional, but whatever. Got our tickets then walked inside. I decided the use the restroom and I was hit by the smell of (best way I can describe it) OLD urine. The urinals did not have auto-flushers, so they were filled with urine and it was clear an employee hasn't serviced the room in at least 24 hours. I walked out and took my date to the movie room (I believe it was auditorium #3?) and oh my god, the SMELL just smacked us in the face. It reeked of mold. We sat down on the chairs and looked up to see the air vent surrounded by mold and dust. It was disgusting. Water stains all over the ceiling tiles that looked like they have been there for a long time. The seats also felt damp. Finally I looked at my date and told her that we should just leave and she happily agreed.
I walked out and asked the girl at the concession stand for the manager. The manager came out and I explained that the movie hasn't even started yet and that the mold smell was so overpowering I would not be watching the movie. She asked if I would like a refund and I said yes. She laughed and then asked to have my credit card and asked to follow her. I walked outside to meet the girl in the booth and while having a smirk on her face I was handed a receipt showing I was given a refund.
This place is really in rough, rough shape. The whole place, including the "manager" was ran by teens or very early 20 year old's. I will never, ever come back nor recommend anyone to ever go...
