Kohl's — Local services in Carbondale

Everything they sell is average and way overpriced. Their basic, no name jeans will give you sticker shock, along with the rest of their clothing. Everything that I have bought here, clothing line, has not lasted 6 months before they start to fade, come unsewn, etc. Nothing last because it is so cheaply made. I am not at all impressed with anything they sell. Even their house shoes that you can literally find the same kind at Walmart does not hold up and are double to triple the price you would pay at Walmart. The only thing I have ever bought here and was well pleased with, was a set of flannel sheets. They have lasted for several years without the elastic becoming rotten and permanently stretched out. But this was several years ago when items were made with pride and made to last. The customer service is terrible. I needed to exchange a shirt at the store and they returned it and offered me to use the kiosk to order what I needed because they couldn’t exchange it even tho the item I purchased was at there location and I had my receipt. I just received my package in the mail and it was the wrong item. I call customer service and they told me I had to go to the store and return the item that was incorrect and then order again on the kiosk what I had originally ordered and see if they can mail me the correct item this time. I believe that they just want to continue making me pay for items I don’t have while waiting for them to refund the money for items that were damaged or wrong. They really need to get a handle on the exclusions on the coupons. "Premium Athletics" is pretty vague and not even the cashiers know the difference until they ring the item up. Bought two pairs of shoes and neither qualified for the $20 off $100 or 20% friends and family sale. I loved the remodel. This review is for the whole company not just for the Carbondale store. I try to buy locally but I will definitely be buying online and from other stores. This is the third or fourth time this has happened to me over the last year or so and I am done.
