I usually don't give this low of a rating but on this visit I was treated with total disrespect. When I reached the point of only one car in front of me I ended up with a 10 to 12 minute wait because the person in front of me actually handed a cat through the window. Needless to say I instantly felt disrespected. First of all, there is the issue of allergies. Then there's the issue of cat's being dirty animals. I don't care how much of a cat lover you are, they are still dirty and do not belong in a pharmacy where sick people are picking up drugs. When I finally reached the window, I told the employee she had to wash her hands before she touched my meds after touching the cat and let her know I was not at all pleased I was made to wait for a social visit with a cat. She informed me she had not touched the cat and when I asked for the name of the person or persons who did so that I could report the incident she brought back the pharmacist who also withheld the persons name. The person waiting on me finally admitted the person in the car was the wife of one of the employees and the other employees wanted to see their new cat. This is clearly a health violation not to mention a very stressful situation. Were it not for the fact that I needed my meds, I would have kept going. One has to wonder how many peoples meds were contaminated that day. This type of behavior is a law-suit waiting to happen. If there is any seriousness about looking into this matter, I have the license number of the person in the car. This matter should be elevated. I'm not a mean or vindictive person but I do...
