I've been going to this place for years and they have always been busy and very efficient. The last couple times I have come here I had the same older lady and she proceeds to say oh that's a nice price $0. Not appreciated when she says it loud enough for everyone to hear when I am a disabled worker that pays monthly for my medical. Absolutely do not appreciate my business being repeated Out Loud by the pharmacy attendant! Edition to this is now 3months later. I jumped this up from a one star to 3 for the fact that it appears they have hired many new faces and I have literally been coming here for over 25 years. This place has definitely improved although the pharmacy is always busy! I seen a review where a woman suggested the pharmacy going to 24 hours and that would absolutely be the only way to thin out the crowd. One person running 3 registers is ridiculous! That gentleman is very polite and respectful but he is being pushed to do a job of 3 people. Bless him for what he does but could we not exploit people like this! CVS has gone from a respectful place to having a crew of hard workers to attempt to do a job that is just not sustainable with the bare minimum of workers. This is clearly a Corporate issue because they have gotten better in 3 months time but that is with friendly faces and attitudes but still have an issue with properly staffing the place. I am going to go back to a local owned pharmacy. These Corporations don't give a rip about employee's and customers alike. It's an...
Read moreIncident #1 I came through the drive thru after receiving a message AND AUTOMATED CALL that my daughters prescriptions were ready. Wait in line a good 15-20mins, no biggie no rush. Lady at the window takes my info and instead of telling me the amount due she states my insurance doesnt cover the cost of her meds(no more than 20 bucks) I then tell her thats not a problem. I was then told that I had to pull back around because they needed to finish getting it ready 🤔so I did. Fast forward (incident #2) after receiving a message again that a new prescription(for myself) was ready and available for pick up.... I pull up to the window Your insurance doesnt cover the cost, ok again I can cover the balance(as always) the lady at the drive thru only tried giving me half the prescription because apparently they didnt have the other script in house. When i told her I would have my doctor send my prescriptions to another pharmacy she instantly turned into a magician and they had my presciption in house, I just had to pull around. I waited 10 mins for the to put my pills in a ziploc bag After that, I never used this...
Read moreIt takes days to get a prescription. My doctor called in an RX for me 2 days ago and if I had not called to check it still would not be ready. The line to pick up your RX is usually around the building. The last time I gave it 48 hours before I tried and waited in line 20 minutes for them to make me wait another 20 minutes for them to fill it. I NOW call ahead (also a long wait time) to make sure it is ready before I go pick it up. Be sure to pick it up in a week or the process will start all over and they will have to refill it. I don't think this is the employees fault. I think they are overwhelmed being the only CVS left in Carlisle and the people at the window are always pleasant. Just poorly run I think. Plus they shut down for lunch everyday. That is when most of us have time to pick up our...
