Cal's Cactus Lane Bowling & Recreation — Local services in Carlsbad

Unfortunately there isn’t another bowling alley in town so we decided to go here. The whole building is run down and ghetto. The lane they put our family on was 21 and the ball return destroyed my personal ball. It also damaged several of the other bowling alley balls. I would not recommend bowling here! The supervisor took down my name and phone number so I could talk to the owner about how they would compensate me for my damaged ball and still haven’t heard anything after a week. My kids, their dad, and I had a blast! We saw the bad reviews so we were a little skeptical about paying to bowl but a very nice worker actually paid for my kids to play. Her name was Kennice. She kept checking on us to make sure we were taken care of and that we were having fun. I’m not sure why everyone left such terrible reviews, my family and I had a blast! Everything was in working condition and if we lived in the area we would definitely return! All of the workers were extremely nice and welcoming from the moment...

If I could give it 0 stars, I would, but one thing I wouldn't do is come to this place. Facilities that don't work, bad service, they yelled at me and my 4 friends, even though we were minors. They insulted us, and after all, they didn't want to give us our money back. I don't recommend it because they offended another family and we just wanted to have a happy time, but they ruined it for us by pretending to fix their machines and all the money and time was totally wasted....
