Looking Glass — Local services in Carlsbad

I was looking for a vape shop and found this place through Google. It does have some vaping gear, with a decent selection of mods, but I wasn't familiar with brands of juices, so decided to move on. The place is a "head shop" more than anything else, and on that, they have a pretty decent selection of accessories.

The reason for the 2-star is because of the person behind the counter. While I was walking in, I noticed all the signs stating they card. And this point was emphasized heavily so it did not escape my notice. Once inside, I was preoccupied with vaping mods when the person behind the counter said something. I apparently did not hear him properly and greeted him with a "what's up". He repeated what he said, this time louder and more aggressively, and this time I understood him. I replied with "my bad" and showed him my I.D. After a few minutes, he finished with his customer, came over to me and just stared at me. No "what can I help you with", no "hi", just this bulldog stare like I did something wrong and that I was public enemy number 1.

The parking was confusing. Had to park in the back next to the sign that said "employee parking". It was extremely quiet inside. No one was at the cash register. No one was around when we walked in until about one minute later when a guy came out from the back to ask for our IDs. Didnt greet us at all...just demanded identification. Loved the experience employees was both friendly and helpful and answered all my questions. Did buy a few things but not what I came there looking for which was glass pieces. Upset they dont sell glass pieces and the only reason why I didnt give 5 stars but other than that had a great experience and...
