I am shocked to see the luck of great reviews for this business. I love Ferguson!! There are no words to describe how thankful I am to meet my kitchen designer Deborah Mader and all the extra steps she made to guide me through my home remodeling process. It all started with me doing research and getting quotes around town.I have been to big box stores, Amish stores, dealers all around Indy and got so many outrageous quotes. Surprisingly Ferguson carries a cabinetry line called Centra by Mouser Cabinetry which fit my requirements of price tag and my dream inset type cabinetry. Having no experience in remodeling or design I was under significant pressure from every aspect of my home remodel. But! I had Deborah and I do not think I would be able to do it all without her! I ended up completely remodeling our kitchen, four bathrooms, two staircases all the flooring and painting over 5K SF house. She was always available to answer all of my design dilemmas and handled my 3 hours inner hysteric over the wood type on my master bathroom vanity. And of course SHE WAS RIGHT and I couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out!! I also purchased majority of my plumbing fixtures through Ferguson and I the guys on the floor were very knowledgeable. It was nice to see some fixtures in the design gallery and have access to catalogs to create my unique plumbing combinations plus they were able to work on price to put me in my desired range. I must admit that now when project is complete it feels a bit weird walking by Design Center and not walking in to dream about my cabinetry, bathrooms and light projects because Ferguson was big part and positive experience in building the home...
Read moreMy husband and I are having our kitchen completely renovated. Our designer recommended we check Ferguson’s out for our appliances. We own our own business for the last 40 years and worked until 2 today, Saturday, but went to look at appliances as soon as we left work. The two working at front desk were friendly and told us if we had questions they would get someone to help us. We had questions and they said a girl would be with us. When she came up to us, she’s asked what we were needing we explained that we were having a kitchen renovation and needed all new appliances. She asked when we would need them and we said not for 3-4 months for sure. She immediately said that would be almost impossible and that the best thing to to would be to try to use our old appliances until we could get new; that the color I mentioned could be up to 20 weeks; told me that if I didn’t know what brand I wanted I needed to go on the website. She acted like the last thing she wanted to do was talk to us about appliances. I asked if she had any brochures or anything to look at and he said no, we would have to go to their showroom or go online; she didn’t have the time to tell us anything. As I said we come from a business of 40 years, and if one of our employees, be it family member or otherwise, treated one of our customers like this, it wouldn’t be acceptable. Read moreI have been working with this store for over 3 months trying to get lighting for my new home I am having built. I chose the lighting and received the bid. The individual named Belle who had been working with me never contacted me to see how things were going nor if I was ready to place my order. So a week prior to closing after hearing from no one. I called to see if Belle was in and available to come take measurements which is something she stated she would do prior to me placing my $10000 order to ensure all lighting would fit. So long story short I was escalated to the manager Natalie because Belle was out of office for the next week and I did not have a week. Well Natalie proceeds to tell me I was lying about Belle telling me would come to my home to take measurements. Mind you the conversation only involved myself and Belle so how Natalie would know what was said is beyond me. But be very clear I would never spend that much money without knowing if the stuff fit for them to then charge me 25% to return. So guess what I went out on the internet and located every light through another company and only paid $4500 for the exact same items. Ferguson here is the lessons: the internet is taking over for retail so if you are a brick and mortar business you ought to be offering superb customer service because that is all you have.
