Update. Buyer Beware! Their warranty is crap for the amount of money these mattresses cost. I made a "warranty" call on mattresses that we bought 13 years ago. I was told we had a 25 year warranty. That was a lie. I was informed I had a 15-year warranty when I called. They conveniently didn't puta specific time in writing on the warranty, though. Maybe they do now, but be aware it is only a MANUFACTURER DEFECT warranty. The mattresses had been hurting our backs for 3 years, and they sunk in about 3" when you sleep on them for more than an hour. They look perfectly fine. I took excellent care of them, flipping them every single month. The extent of my warranty visit was that they came in and looked at them and said that they look just fine. I explained they sink in 3 inches when you sleep and I was told of course they do. They laid on them for a few seconds in jeans, and said they felt fine to them. My husband could feel a spring, but they said they didn't. So the bottom line is no warranty on how well they hold up or how long they'll be comfortable. They could have a 90-day warranty because it only covers manufacturer's defect of 1 1/2 inches when you "look" at it. Your comfort doesn't matter. It might take time for the mattress to sink in, but even then, your comfort doesn't matter. Your expectations of this mattress being comfortable for any length of time doesn't matter. Our new mattresses, which they told us have a 10-year warranty, is the same. Don't think this warranty means that your mattresses are going to last and be comfortable for 10 years because they probably won't. You will be wasting your time and a lot of money, if you think your continued comfort matters. I replaced my mattresses a few months ago, before making a warranty call on my old mattress. I replaced them with the exact same mattresses, two twin xl. They cost over $4200, up from $2,518 that we paid for the old ones. We paid that price because it made sense to buy the best and longest lasting mattress I could afford. But I could buy a cheaper mattress that would be just as comfortable for half the time, replace it with a fresh new mattress in 5 years, and still save money. That'll be on my mind, when in a few years these $4200 mattresses need to be replaced. I also want to comment on service.13 years ago I received excellent service. The last time was a different experience. The salesperson was not nearly as accommodating, friendly, and nice. We felt slightly ignored. We were the only ones there, so she was busy with something else. I announced that we were there to buy a mattress, so there was no selling to it. We were told that we would receive a phone call in about 2 weeks. I had explained that t was important that I knew when they would be ready because my husband was having surgery soon, and I needed the mattresses before he got home. After 3 weeks, I was notified that my husband was coming home, I called them. Our mattresses were actually there and they said they just arrived. I felt like that wasn't exactly true and they had neglected to call me. We pick up the mattresses that day in rush hour, and got them on the bed just before he got home. Customer service doesn't feel like it once did. I will still recommend Holder mattresses. Their mattresses are very good, but are not warrantied when they become uncomfortable, no matter when it occurs. And they probably won't last 10 years without being uncomfortable, so please balance the possible time before you need to replace it with the amount of money that you're spending, because the so-called warranty is basically useless. Also note, they have downgraded the material that the mattresses are covered in. My original mattresses had a beautiful cover, while my new, more expensive, same mattresses, are covered in a much cheaper fabric and the stitching is sloppy, unlike my original mattresses. So there's that, if you care about the quality of fabric used and looks of the mattress. It doesn't...
Read moreWe just had a Registry Soft Top mattress with box springs delivered and set up by Holder Mattress. This replaces the Holder mattress we purchased 21 - 22 years ago. The service in the store, by knowledgeable personnel, was very helpful even though I thought I knew what we wanted. They verified that the new mattress met our needs. A truck and two people arrived within the delivery window they promised. After removing and loading our old mattress and springs on they truck, they gave me enough time to vacuum under our bedframe and the installed the new springs and mattress. Once again, I am very happy with our purchase and the service we received.
We also had a custom sized mattress and box springs made by Holder several years ago. That mattress is still going strong, and we have not yet...
Read moreCouldn't be a better product or experience! On product, it was really important to me to find a custom-sized crib-mattress manufacturer that took seriously US CPSC standards on crib-mattress firmness. Holder has educational materials on their website on this subject and knew more about this subject than anyone else in the US. Thrilled with the final product, which is high-quality and deftly crafted and made exactly to the custom measurements.
Also, this customer experience was actually delightful! Christy was exceedingly patient with a slow ordering process on my end, responsive and helpful in answering many questions, and solutions-oriented when the shipper created a last-minute hurdle to shipping the mattress. Was lovely to work with Holder...
