Purchases a washer and dryer set in November of 2020. It was not delivered until January 12th due to a back order in which I was fine with. I went to do my first load of laundry and the washer was broken and could not finish the load. I immediately contacted the store where I was left on hold for 30 minutes and then disconnected. Called back and was transferred to a call center. I was told that a replacement could not be delivered until January 22nd. Not being satisfied with this date, I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was then hung up on. Called back, got a supervisor who said it is what it is. I asked to speak to her supervisor and was transferred to a LG rep. The rep was not filled in and I had to go through my story again. LG rep was just as rude as the Home Depot reps. I finally agreed to accept the 22nd delivery date as long as I had a morning delivery. I was told that would not be a problem. It’s the night of the 21st, the night before the delivery. I received a call saying my timeframe was 1-5pm. I called back to talk to a rep about an AM delivery and got the same it is what it is attitude and there was nothing that could be done. It has now been two months since I purchased my washer and I still am waiting for it. Home Depot has lost my business...
Read moreRude, racist & incompetent. I get the incompetent part, its the world we live in but I can not get over the racist comment and rudeness in this store. Youll find no customer service here, nor will you find respect as a customer, nor does the staff command respect as, Cameron told me, "an African American was just outside the door and would help me load", now that sounds racist..instead try, there is a gentleman outside to help load?. But no, this is racist Carmel, Indiana. Terrible manager named Peyton. Purchased $645 in material. Requested a skid for the material which was denied to the point of irritation. The material is cement based, I require a skid for my trailer so I could easily deal with the half of ton material on my jobsite. The material I purchased came to them on a skid. You've lost a customer, I'll never step inside one of your stores ever again. Peyton is one ignorant manager, good help is hard to find and it's very apparent at home depot. So now, Peyton, go find a skid for the material and place it back in stock, now you've handled the half of ton of material by hand 2x, but I'm almost certain you could care less about the individuals who have to handle the material. The Ignorant girl has no business as a store manager,...
Read moreWell, I ended up going to Home Depot in hopes of finding the items I needed that Lowes didn't carry. I had two common themes. First, I found less selection, markings, and disorder than I had expected. Secondly, and by far the more bothersome of the issues, was a terrible customer service experience. I asked an individual about finding a certain item. His response was "I have no idea, I'm maintenance". He continued walking with no intention of finding someone who could help me. Shortly after, I approached another staff who pointed me in the right direction. I then tried to find roofing, which I was told was in the "corner of the store". Unbeknownst to the employees of Home Depot, box stores generally have at least 4 corners. I went into the nearest corner, which made logical sense, and realized I was in receiving (which was unmarked and completely open to the store). While turning around, a MANAGER NOT A GENERAL STAFF, said "Umm you are in receiving". I responded... "I realized that now, I'm a bit lost and can't find what I'm looking for". His response was "Yeah, I can tell". No offer of help. No chuckle, just rude sarcasm. Worst experience with customer service I've had in a box store in a long time. My business will be...
