Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Carmel

Recognizing this is a newer location, I have visited on more than 5 occasions now and been disappointed each time for one reason or another. The service is simply not what we have grown used to with the other established Chick-Fil-A restaurants around town - not even close. This location is painfully slow, by any standard, even when the is nearly no other customers. The hours are not the same as the other locations - annoying. They also leave the entire place lit up as if they are open when they are closed unlike any other fast casual eatery causing people to drive up to try and order while the store full of employees simply ignore them until they drive off - senseless and lazy. Lastly, the design of the parking lot traffic flow and drive through is awful. Sadly, I don’t believe the culture is the same at this location and no longer expect it to get better. My assumption is different ownership and much lesser quality of management. ...

I just googled this location to look up their hours for tomorrow morning. Out of curiosity I looked at the reviews and what is making the average score 4.1. I was so surprised to see all the negative reviews. By far this is my favorite location - in part because I've never had a bad experience, not even in the slightest. My orders come in correct, fast, and the food is hot. That's all I ask from a fast food place. Add the nice staff and I really like this location. I've been to it all times of morning, day, and night and it's always been great. I get the one star reviews but so sad to see all the anger (yes, adding multiple exclamation marks makes you look even angrier than you may be). You waited long, you got lost in the parking lot, they forgot a straw or a sauce. If this makes you lose your mind, take a minute to think what is actually causing so much stress...

The newly opened Chick-fil-A West Carmel is shining example of a company that continues to improve its systems to better serve customers while still maintaining the high quality of food and excellent service. We love the mobile scan only order lane. It makes our trip so much faster. Plus our food is always excellent and hot. Chick-fil-A West Carmel staff members are always kind and efficient. The minimalist indoor order counter was a shock at first but makes so much sense - easy, quick, right up front as soon as enter. Both inside and outside of restaurant are very clean and attractive. Appreciate the rewards generous program. Love the mobile app - one of the best food ordering ones available due to its clarity, ease of ordering, and customization.
