Taco Bell — Restaurant in Carmel

We went through drive through at 11:30pm and they told us they were only taking mobile orders. So we ordered online and then went through the drive though the pick it up. Except when we went through the manager told us that they couldn’t fulfill our order (20 mins later) because of staffing issues. But they wouldn’t cancel the order, we had to on the app. They were incredibly rude and would not refund our food when the app said our order couldn’t be canceled. So we paid for food that was never delivered. Mohammad would not respond to us when we asked for a refund. The manager, Ellie, would not try to help us or refund us either. They then threatened to call the police when we asked for a refund through the drive through line. We know there were 2 people working in Taco Bell and they never said they didn’t have product so I’m wondering why 2 people couldn’t make a taco supreme combo with a drink? What staffing issue caused them to not be able to fulfill the order and just tell us they couldn’t refund the order and kept asking us how old we were? Sounds like a scam to me! The Bell was closed upon arrival. The Bell is our nations go to when nothing else is open right behind the Waffle N Steak & The Castle. Everything I thought I knew is in question after rolling up to find no one showed up to open the store. 8:20 am on 5/26/24 - Zero Employees showed up with Google showing the store open at 8am and the hours on the door showing an Open time of 7am with no special postings for possible exceptions for Memorial Day Weekend. Where else am I going to get a little breakfast & lunch Tex Mex at 8 am as I am dragged to my in-laws to work on the weekend. This day is cursed from the start - The Bell has broken me. I gave three stars because even closed the Bell shines with the store looking nice, parking lot clean, and the menu drive thru menu making me salivate. I visited this location because it was newly opened and all I got was terrible service the people you had and the window was rude it was a young black gentleman heavy set and then I requested a small item because I forgot to order it and they told me I had to drive all the way all the way around even though there was no one behind me and no one waiting in the Drive-Thru they wanted to continue their conversation about what they did this weekend here did you can do this weekend get my order right..
