The owner Kevin and his friendly staff,are knowledgeable in so many different genres of music, and the place is completely stocked with delicious pressings, and also old school album art in frames , movie posters, comic books, books, even shot glasses ,stickers and my favorite:classic old MAD magazines from back in the day . You can spend a lot of time there and then walk over to the beach. Read moreGem of a record store in little Carpenteria! I stopped in about a week ago on my way down to LA, and was thrilled to pick up a copy of Beggar's Banquet as well as a Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers album (RIP).
Most of the stock focuses on hits and lesser known favorites of the 20th century, from rock to jazz to classical to movie scores - but there are a few recent vinyl releases scattered here and there. Their modest collection is well-curated and fairly priced, making effective use their cozy "shack". Vintage posters and even a few comic books can also be found!
