Avoid this place!

A previous review stated that they would not "refund" anything, even if they messed things up. I can substantiate this 100%. I ordered a chicken and cheese dish, and I asked for it not to be spicy, as did another member of my group. We were assured that was fine. The food came out in fits and spurts, no rhyme or reason to when things came out. Main dishes before appetizers, upwards of 20 minutes between dishes coming out at all. The two chicken and cheese dishes finally came out, and it was so spicy that it sent me into a coughing fit. My mouth was on fire. I'm no slouch, but I have a health issue, and if I were to eat that level of spiciness, I would have ended up in the emergency room. Not worth it. And I did ask for not spicy. This was 'melt your face off' spicy. No flavour, just hot. I told the waitress I could not eat it, and the kitchen had messed up, as I'd asked for way less/no heat. She immediately had attitude. She disappeared & came back to tell me the kitchen did prepare it "less spicy". She also refused to remake it, or let me choose another dish. Her statement was, "we will not remake it for you, and we don't give refunds since it was prepared correctly". How are you going to refund something I haven't even paid for yet?? It was weird. I told her flat out that we needed to figure something out, as it WAS the kitchens fault for not doing what I'd asked, so they could either remake it, or take it off my bill, because I was not going to pay for something I literally could not eat any of, because if I did, I would end up in the HOSPITAL. She said she would talk to the manager, then came back to inform me there was no manager there. (Completely against code, btw) She continued to give nothing but attitude to the point that everyone in the party was absolutely astounded at how bad the service was, her attitude, and the whole situation. I finally told her there were two options, remake it the way I asked, or take it off the bill. Period. There is NOTHING, btw, that states there are no "refunds", and no corrections even if they screw up, posted ANYWHERE. She left yet again, and came back and said they could not make it not spicy (which she could have told me when we ordered, that would have not been a big deal, I would have ordered something else) and the only thing they were willing to make me instead was the teriyaki chicken and cheese. Literally, that was it. I just didn't care at that point & wanted out. They then took 20 minutes to prepare it. The rest of my party was done eating. So I asked if I could just get it put in a box, and literally eyes were rolled. For 6 people, they added 20% gratuity. Ok, whatever. $300 bill for 6 people. For mediocre food and God awful service. And when we paid, the level of attitude and just....ick...that was displayed when she was told no additional tip was being added was just mind-blowing. Because, you better bet she sure indicated the time for adding the tip. No. Normally, when the food is good and we have great service, we tip above whatever is added to our check (it's almost always 6+ people), because we genuinely appreciate our servers. But no, she got what they added, and that was it.

Avoid this place. The service is garbage, the food is either ok, or really bad. All fried foods (wings, pork cutlets, etc) were dang dear black because they were so over cooked. I have a feeling the oil hasn't been changed in a hot minute, either.

And the cost is on par with a high dining establishment. This is not that. Take a picture with the sign, and move on. All the other food places in the plaza are fabulous. This place is awful. Walk next door, or a few suites down, I guarantee you'll like it more, and get WAY...

We used to come here 2-3 times a month, but after what me and my family experienced last night, we probably won't be coming back. Yesterday was my birthday and we decided to go to Ddong Ggo, cause they have music in the background, tasty food, and have a good happy hour for soju/beer. Everything was fine until a lady walked in, without a mask, on her phone. They seated her towards the front side area, about 15ft away from where we were currently sitting. This lady proceeds to talk on speakerphone, loudly, for the next 15-20min. Keep in mind, there are other guests with at least 4 per table and music is playing in the background. Yet, all we could hear was this lady talking, very loudly. Customers were constantly glancing in her direction, yet nothing was done. This lady did not order food or drink, she was simply talking on her phone. Since the workers decided not to address the issue, my mother in law walks towards her table and asks if she could please talk quieter or take the call outside. Well, this lady flips out and starts shouting/yelling at my mother in law. She walks up to our table and is getting in our faces, continuing to be super loud. Now, she has everyone staring at her, as she gets louder and louder. The workers finally decide to step in, but ask us to just ignore her and ask the lady to go back to her table. But this does not stop her, as she keeps shouting and making a scene. A few minutes later, she begins to walk around the entire restaurant, recording on her phone and making comments. The workers do not stop her. It was at this point, we decide to grab our check and go. We are beyond disappointed with the staff and their inability to dissolve this situation. The staff should have asked her to leave, but instead they just asked us to ignore her while she's shouting at us the whole time. We will not be coming back, which is unfortunate, because we really liked this place, prior to...

wanted to like this place but the service really ruined it for me. we were sat at a table way too small for what we ordered, i would’ve appreciated more attentiveness and been moved to a bigger table. the music was so incredibly loud, there was no way we could have a conversation without screaming at each other even though we were sitting right next to each other or yell out our order to the server. we werent given any water, utensils, bowls/plates or napkins before the food got there so we were just sitting there with the food for a bit. servers weren’t attentive enough to refill our water when we were out and pressing the button for every little thing felt demeaning so we went over to the server station to grab it ourselves. i asked if i could have a side of the spicy rice cake sauce if i ordered the bulgogi rice cake and was told no, which is fine but i would’ve appreciated if the server asked the cook if it was possible before flat out saying no. ordered the spicy rice cake anyway. rice cakes were soft and came with a boiled egg, mini sausages and fishcakes. our kimchi jigae didnt come with a side of rice and was told it doesnt come with rice, which i found a bit strange… our seafood noodle soup had one single shrimp in it so i found it a bit lacking. kimchi pancake was a little on the eggy side and also had imitation crab in it. im not used to that but it was crispy and had good flavor. there was a birthday there and they played a little happy birthday track for them (which is very nice of them to do!) two separate times though. just a warning to others, they do turn the lights off during that so you and your server wont be able to see your food/where to put food. when taking leftovers, they gave us a giant box to put it in so again, we grabbed some bags in their stations on...
