I've been a Kohl's customer for years. My husband gets 95 percent of his business clothing at Kohl's. We went in yesterday to buy him some suit jackets, trousers, dress shirts and a few casual pieces. The store itself is cluttered and you can't trust the size on the hangers but I'm used to that. The problem? I have never been treated so undervalued by a cashier in my life. When I approached her to check out the first thing I asked her was if there were any type of coupons and special's in place, her response, "I don't know"??!! An older cashier heard the conversation and came over with coupons, she didn't thank her co-worker, and never gave me any eye contact. She started taking the suit jackets off the hangers, to stuff in a bag. Every other Kohl's cashier in the country would ask me if I'd like the suit pieces in a garment bags, but not this one ! I had to ask for 3 and then the cashier watched as myself and husband struggled to get the pieces in the garment bags. She never once asked if we needed help. She never spoke to me or looked at me once. We spent hundreds of dollars that day. After this experience and feeling so unwelcomed I will be looking for a new store for my husband's business wear. This girl should not be dealing with any customer. Kohl's you've lost a MVS and I will cancel...
Read moreI have done back to school shopping and clothes shopping for myself primarily at Kohls for the last year since I moved to Carson City. They don't always have what I want but when they do I always get a great deal and have coupons or kohls cash to use. I also have the credit card. Today I was shopping with my kids and I went into JC Penny to look at their fragrances. All of the staff there was so helpful and I was offered a credit card. I declined, telling them I was happy with Kohl's. I walked over to Kohls after that to buy some shoes (the app said were available for pick up at the store here). I didn't see them on the floor so I approached customer service to see if they could find them in the back. The lady said she looked and couldn't find them, even said there wasn't a size 9 either (which I knew to be false because I had tried on the 9's before going to the service desk and they were too big). The lady had a major attitude with me and treated me as though I was a waste of her time and she was very condescending and RUDE! I will be canceling my Kohl's credit card and giving my business to another store who can grasp the concept of customer service, it's amazing how just one employee...
Read moreThe store is clean, however lately I've observed groups of people. Entering stores, wandering around acting suspicious as if they are stalking someone as soon as I or someone else walks in their General area they leave the store. Most of the time, the store is vacant. I completed an audit last year, but I haven't followed up to see if the lights in their parking lot have been fixed. I'm hoping this won't be another of the Kohls that will be shut down. They could also use a better selection of shoes recommended by orthopedics. Too many Sketcher shoew. The city needs a decent department store. If the property owners had security to patrol the parking lots, that would be great.
As for those individuals they are just walking my path anyways. I've helped Federal Agents when I was younger than them so I know what...
