I recently stopped by Frozen Flamingo and had an interesting experience. The vanilla ice cream itself was good – they even gave me extra scoops which was really nice of the lady behind the counter. However, I was pretty shocked by the price. The basic hard scoop of vanilla is $4.50, which isn’t terrible, but once you add the waffle bowl and rainbow sprinkles, the total came out to almost $10 for one serving! I love supporting local businesses, but the price for one scoop with extras felt a bit high compared to places like Dairy Queen where I could’ve gotten two of these for the same cost. Read moreI stopped by this new ice cream shop the other day and had a strawberry milkshake. Let me tell you, it was awesome, really creamy and full of fresh strawberry flavor. The shop has a nice, cozy feel to it, perfect for a relaxing treat on a warm day.
What really stood out, though, were the owners. They were incredibly nice taking the time to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. It's great to see such friendly service these days. If you're in the area, you should definitely check it out!
